Has anyone in here had a c section with low support as in family and friends whilst caring for a 3 yo plus new baby.
I’m planing another pregnancy as a smbc. My parents are old and I’ve only just moved to my area so my friends are not close.
My last c section was horrendous to get over and I’m worried about having to do everything whilst recovering

It’s just myself and my husband and I’ve had two sections. He was at work with no paternity leave when our youngest was 4 days old and I was with both kids alone.
Set alarms for meds, stay mobile, fill the freezer and fridge with nice food, get toddler as independent as possible and just go slow. Lots of snuggles on the sofa together, still make time for the “big kid” when baby naps and just be kind to yourself.
We are all different but I didn’t find my recoveries difficult at all (mine were electives not emergencies) and having no village wasn’t ideal but it was doable. I’ll be having our third as a section again with no family in the country.
