Napping hell

Is anyone else’s little one only napping for max 30mins at a time? And she’ll only go down 2x a day at home. She’ll sleep in the car if we go out but wake up as soon as the car is stopped. There’s been really rare occasions she’s done a proper long nap but it’s not the norm for her 🥺 my first would nap for about an hour at a time at this age and still had 3 naps a day so I actually got a bit time to rest/get stuff done. Feel myself getting so frustrated and worn out🥺😭

Around 5 months my girl found her rhythm, napping 3x daily for a total of 2.5-3hrs generally with x2 1hr naps and one final 30min nap. She reached 6.5 months and since has been as youve described, hardly naps at all and not often. Shes now 7.5 months and basically the same. I was told its them regulating to reduce their naps so mine will likely drop to 2 naps and also the 7 month regression x

How to settle night wakings without feeding

My EBF baby responds very well to feeds overnight to fall straight back asleep after waking. I’m conscious this isn’t a long term solution and we need a way of settling him without feeding.

He won’t take a dummy, patting/ hand on chest/shushing etc in crib doesn’t settle him. If I get him out of his crib he’s still distressed and I have to walk around with him for a long time and often still end up needing to feed him to get him back to sleep.

It’s especially hard at night as i also need my sleep and it’s far easier and quicker to quick feed and back to sleep.

Any advice on how I can settle overnight without the feeds?

When does catnapping stop?

My LO is 4 months old and for the last one month has been napping only for 30 minutes chunks during the day unless contact napping. When can I expect and hope for this to get better?

Grunting, straining, red faced… HELP

my little one is just over 3 weeks and honestly I think he spends every night from 3am onwards grunting, straining, stretching his legs out and passing wind until about 6am. The only way he will sleep is if he is on my tummy down as this seems to give him comfort but it’s hard for me to not fall asleep when this happens! We have taken him to the doctors and they said he’s just a baby basically🤷‍♀️ he poos fine, passes wind throughout the night all night, burps after every feed I just cannot work out why he does it! Please can I have some advice or at least someone who is in the same boat 😭😭

Car seat issues

Help!! My daughter screams badly EVERY time I put her in the car seat. It causes me so much aniexty to take her out, I feel so trapped at the moment as don’t want to take her out because of it. It’s like a bad scream to the point where she’s sweating due to getting so worked up. This panics me so I always pull over to calm her down and put her back in. Has anyone had anything similar and can offer some advice? Thanks so much x x
