I had a growth scan at 33 weeks because baby had flat lined and basically not grown. At the scan we were told baby was a perfectly average size and nothing to worry about. At 37 weeks I was measuring 35.5 which they said was okay. 2 weeks later (Today) I was measuring 34. So she’s gone down on the graph and it looks quite concerning, considering I’m now 39 weeks. She hasn’t moved position since last time, so it’s not like it could be based on how she’s laying. I wouldn’t normally be too worried because her size was completely fine last time. But for the past week or so I’ve noticed her movements haven’t been as often. I’ve been too scared to go to triage, I had a really bad experience at 18 weeks, the midwife made me cry and made me feel like an idiot. Now I’m kicking myself, wishing I did just go just incase, because If her growth has actually stopped and it could have been caught sooner, it would be my fault. Has anyone else measured small this late on? Due next week. I hate the wait🥲waiting to get the call to book the scan in

Omg this is literally me I had my 36 week appointment today however I’m 37+4 and my baby hasn’t grown since 34 weeks so she’s now on the 10th percentile so I’m getting a scan on Friday to make sure everything is fine. You should go triage though even if you feel nervous I’ve had to force myself to go in 2 times due to movements and she’s been fine it’s always better to be safe than sorry don’t let one midwife experience get in the way of your child’s needs xx

Trust your instincts - if you are worried about movement, please go. I was worried about moaking a fuss but the midwives at my local unit told me they would rather me be in there every day and be reassured, than me stress badly at home about what ifs. Im sorry you had a bad experience earlier in your pregnancy but try not to let that get in the way.
