Night time wakes/Nap dropping

My almost 2.5 year old has been waking for an hour in the night around 3.30/4am for an hour. He's happy when he wakes...asks for a drink, wee, for us to sing songs to him to help him go back to sleep

We have recently played around with dropping his nap. He used to wake up around 6am, nap around 1-2 or 2.30.( he refuses earlier naps ). Then he wouldn't go to bed until around 9 or 9.30. I tried capping his nap but this caused enormous tantrums and didn't make a difference to bed times. I've tried dropping the nap the last two weeks and he falls asleep by 7pm. BUT, he's waking up for this hour in the night and then sleeping in until around 8 or 8.30am.
Any tips? He has slept very well since 18months old x

THIS!! Near enough exactly the same as us this last week. I believe it’s the 2 year sleep regression! Although my boy is just super clingy so I’ve just ended up putting him in my bed so we can all get sleep!!

This was 6 weeks Post Partum on my first girls trip, although I looked the part it didn’t feel the same. Thought of leaving my baby girl and the sleep deprivation.

Felt like going into back hibernation 😭

Navigating politics as a mother

Has anyone really struggled meeting mum friends because of political concerns? I have always been very left wing ( pro palestine , supporting trans/gay rights , anti racism) and even more so after having a baby because I feel like i’m even more passionate to have a kind world for our children . I get a little worried when i meet other mums at baby groups that i’ll find out they’re actually right wing or against a lot of the morals i hold and i wouldn’t be able to keep that around my child . Not sure if it’s normal to feel so strongly about politics around my baby.
But also if it makes me uncomfortable then that’s also an issue i guess ?

Washing powder suggestions 🫧🧼

Hey mamas, I’m due very soon and now ready to start washing our baby’s clothes/bedding/blankets (eeek!). Would love some recommendations regarding washing detergents and powders that have worked for you and whether you tumble dry too? x

Sex Postpartum…

Hi ladies, how long has everyone waited/plan to wait to have sex again? I had an unplanned c-section just under 5 weeks ago, but recovery has been really good so far and have been feeling ready for a while but the guidance for everything seems to be wait till at least 6 weeks. Just wondering what everyone else’s thoughts are, and anything to be aware of? 🤍

Can’t nurse to sleep anymore

Everyone says not to but I’ve nursed my daughter to sleep the whole time and she’s 7 months old. Now after she falls asleep, the tiniest movement will wake her up and she’s upset because she knows the crib is next. Within a matter of days we’ve gone from 20-30 min to get her to bed to a couple hours of failing multiple times and she gets so anxious she can’t settle again. I’m devastated at how upsetting this is for her. My husband said I’m numero uno to her and she’s having separation anxiety. My heart is breaking. Idk what to do from here. She’s sleeping on me now because she needs another hour at least. Open to advice (except CIO would kill me). Anyone in a similar boat?
