After months and months of waiting we’ve finally got our initial consultant appointment in two weeks. Can anyway advise what this appointment is likely to consist of? Is it just discussing our concerns etc?

I’m not familiar with the UK’s process, but in the US, it consisted of two appointments. The first appointment involved discussing his behaviors and quirks, while the second appointment involved observing him alone, for instance, how he played and how he responded to certain stimuli.

Mine was me and my son (he's 3) and mostly going through everything I'd sent in around his medical history, family history, development and concerns now. Some observation and a full health check for him too (height, weight etc.). Checked over his physical development. We got a written report from that and told a multi-disciplinary team would review and then next appointment in 6 months

Mine was crap. It really led to nothing other then talking to me about testing her blood for chromosome issues , medicating her and MRi. I left that dr after he was adamant I just medicate her ... Took about a whole year to get a real apt at the autism hub here then she was diagnosed within the apt in an hour! At that appointment they went over family history , her milestones , observed her , spoke to her ( since she doesn't communicate she didn't get much from that ) seen what stims she had .. etc now were diagnosed and connected to a large range of therapies for her! She's also been signed up for disability program here.
This picture was taken not even 10 minutes after taking.

I’m 31 weeks and I think I’ve made my mind up about a vbac.
I think I’ll book in an elective for 41 weeks (as late as they’ll let me) and see if labour naturally happens before then.
I’m hoping this is the right decision but it’s difficult to differentiate fear over intuition.
Has anyone got any advice on having a vbac? How to physically prepare beforehand and in the hospital?
Just for context, there will be just under 16 months between my first and this baby

I’m 34 + 2 and I noticed when I was just in the shower that I’m starting to leak colostrum. Is it too soon to start collecting?

People talk about an energy boost and feeling more yourself in the 2nd trimester. I’m 14w3days today and still feel as tired, low and not myself as I did in the first trimester!! Did other people find this and when did you start feeling better?? xxx
