Solly Baby Wrap
My 8 week old has colic/silent reflux and isn’t doing great napping in her crib yet. I wear her a lot during the day to try and get stuff done and so she can nap longer. She had been loving the Solly wrap and would sleep 2 hours no problem. However, she recently seems to be getting uncomfortable/can’t get into a comfortable position after a short time. She will just shake her head from side to side and fuss until she eventually starts full blown crying.
Is this normal? Is my chest uncomfy or is it the position of the carriers? Any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!

Whenever my little girl shakes her head in her carrier its normally because shes hungry or frustrated she cant get her hands to her face to suck her thumb. She could be going through a growth spurt. That would cause discomfort, extra fussing, and they want to eat more often. If she is breastfed she could be smelling milk and rooting.
Has any of her other sleep been shorter like contact naps or overnight? Is she just generally more fussy or is it just in her carrier?

Struggling with sleep
Does anyone co sleep and find their (Velcro) baby gets up eyes closed multiple times a night for you? I usually pick them up so it doesn’t turn into a full wake but so exhausting. Any been through this? What’s the solution? LO is a toddler now so it is hard.

Most absorbent nappies for overnight
Can anyone recommend a really good absorbent nappy? My little one is 7m old and is a belly sleeper, I’m having to change his pyjamas and bedding every morning as he is totally saturated!
I initially used Asda little angels nappies but switched to pampers baby dry recently to see if they were any better, he is still leaking with those too. I have also tried adding a nappy liner into the front over night for extra protection but he is still wetting through.
Just for reference he is a big boy and in size 6/7 nappies he weighs over 30lb 🐷 I struggle to get nappies to fit around his belly, he has a bigger than average belly as well.
All of the ‘night time nappies’ in the shops are for older babies/ toddlers and are pull ups, but as I said my boy is big.. should I try these??

Feeling down and defeated
I’m feeling some what down and think I’ve got postnatal depression. My 5 month old is just refusing to do anything but cry on me, not sleep or eat (he does have a clean nappy), and my partner pretty much treats me like I’m his maid and not his partner. I don’t feel at all happy with my life and I just feel stuck. I know I’m not being the best mother I can be but this has become my daily life now. I don’t know what to do. I really don’t want judgment but I’ve never felt so alone. I feel like the worst parent going.

baby carrier
sometimes she makes huge fuss to be held so i order a baby carrier from shein it’s cloth one i love that one but that makes my back hurt so bad and i got one baby carrier as a gift it got a kinda chair underneath my husband gets scared he says she’s small and her legs get open way much i want something to support my back little bit and long term for sure

Leaving baby
Has anyone been away from their baby for a few days yet? I’m still breastfeeding and have started solids but have a short trip booked at start of October and feel so anxious about it. This is my third baby and I know she’ll be fine with her Dad but we feed through the night still and I’m just not really sure how to manage that change. I also don’t want it to put an end to breastfeeding for once I’m back either. My plan is to pump while I’m away to keep supply up. Any advice appreciated 🩷
