Anyone else struggle with getting there little one to sleep in the cot because of reflux? My LO has bad reflux, and will be dead asleep on me but within 5 minutes of being laid flat will then wake up squirming in pain, arching back etc, I then have to pick him up and put him upright over my shoulder for a while to resettle. He can’t comfortably sleep lying flat in the “safe sleep” position 😔

My little girl has bad silent reflux during the day but weirdly sleeps at night! But during the day she counts the naps basically all day 🫠. We have to keep her upright for ages after every feed. We find once she wakes up from being led down and when we change her she does the same arching her pain crying in pain. We’ve just been given omeprazole so I’m hoping that helps!

Can you put your cot on an incline? We did that with our next to me and it really helped
Does anyone co sleep and find their (Velcro) baby gets up eyes closed multiple times a night for you? I usually pick them up so it doesn’t turn into a full wake but so exhausting. Any been through this? What’s the solution? LO is a toddler now so it is hard.

Can anyone recommend a really good absorbent nappy? My little one is 7m old and is a belly sleeper, I’m having to change his pyjamas and bedding every morning as he is totally saturated!
I initially used Asda little angels nappies but switched to pampers baby dry recently to see if they were any better, he is still leaking with those too. I have also tried adding a nappy liner into the front over night for extra protection but he is still wetting through.
Just for reference he is a big boy and in size 6/7 nappies he weighs over 30lb 🐷 I struggle to get nappies to fit around his belly, he has a bigger than average belly as well.
All of the ‘night time nappies’ in the shops are for older babies/ toddlers and are pull ups, but as I said my boy is big.. should I try these??
TIA from my laundry basket lmao xox
Edit: have weighed him and he is 26lb 🤣🤦🏼♀️

I’m feeling some what down and think I’ve got postnatal depression. My 5 month old is just refusing to do anything but cry on me, not sleep or eat (he does have a clean nappy), and my partner pretty much treats me like I’m his maid and not his partner. I don’t feel at all happy with my life and I just feel stuck. I know I’m not being the best mother I can be but this has become my daily life now. I don’t know what to do. I really don’t want judgment but I’ve never felt so alone. I feel like the worst parent going.

Hello, I am a first time mum and was wondering when mums moved their babies out of the carrycot to the seat? My baby girl loves to look out and be nosey.
