I had my second growth scan today and they told me my baby’s growth rate had dropped. 😢 it was in the 60th percentile and three weeks later at 34 weeks, she is at 24th percentile. Has this happened to anyone else? All my friends say they could be inaccurate scan measurements and if she is active then not to worry but the doctor said if she’s continuing not to grow at a good rate, I could be looking at induction or a c section around 38/39 weeks. I guess I didn’t mentally prepare for that and now I’m a bit afraid as I’ve never had surgery/don’t know what to expect. Any words of advice or encouragement are appreciated.

Please do not worry about the c section. So many women have it and make it out on the other side. I had a c section and going to have my second with a c section. You will be able to get through it, no sweats. I know its scary when you are faced with something you had not prepared for but it is a commom procedure and you will be happy you went through it. I hope baby is good and you will have a comfortable and speedy recovery

Hey my love, I’m going through my own experience of this right now. At 31 weeks baby was on the 79th percentile, now at 33 weeks she’s on the 57th. I had a consultant meeting and they said the reason for the drop was due to the length of her femur bone and explained that certain parts of baby can grow quicker than others and then plateau. My consultant also reassured me that scans can be highly inaccurate and therefore should be taken with a pinch of salt. I’m now due to have another growth scan and meeting with my consultant at 35 weeks to make sure her growth isn’t falling further. Everything will be okay! This part of pregnancy is scary as you can go from having weeks left before baby to being told baby has to come tomorrow! You’ve got this mama! You and baby will be ok 💕

Edit: apparently she has is more like 40th percentile now but the charts are so confusing! The EFW says she’s about 2.1kg and shows 24% next to it
I’m due December 11th but may possibly have to have baby November 20th now.
Is it too early to start buying for my hospital bag?!
It’s baby number 4, you’d think I’m an expert by now😂 any must haves for bags people can think of?! Attached my list so far!

Hello all,
(12w1d here)
I recently downloaded the app because my parter said it will be better for my mood.
I’m felling quite stressed, no energy to talk a part from work. I’m not calling anymore to my friends or family, I do not even have patience or energy to reply their messages. It’s makes me feel bed about it, because I’m not like that.
Has anyone been through this?
❤️ thank you

months of prepping for a water birth and i ended up having to be induced then an emergency c section since baby boy decided he didn't want to come anymore😂 im only 16 days pp but since coming home i've been constantly up and moving about. i don't think i've processed how traumatic the birth was yet since my family and partner haven't really sympathised with what i went through at all
any tips or advice for coping ? should i even bother with talking therapies?

Hi, I am 8 weeks postpartum and I noticed one week ago a hole in scar after c section. I went to GP, they say nothing major. Has any experienced this before, any recommendations as it’s not getting any better.

Unfortunately my care pathway has changed as my midwife is going to be on vacation for the rest of my pregnancy (to be clear this does NOT bother me, well deserved). And sadly there are no midwife appointments available at my GP, so I have to go to a children's center. The only thing I'm worried about is privacy, as I have attended baby massage classes there and it's just a big open room and I don't remember there being any other private rooms there. I'm worried about how they will do any checks, measurements or even sweeps (if offered). Wondering if any other UK Mums had this happen?

Unsure what I should choose… I have weighed up all the pros and cons and still don’t know what is best for me. I’ve heard positive and negative birth stories for both but I’m so scared and not sure what I should choose.
