Soo, what are we doing with our babies?

Morning everyone! Just wondering what a typical day looks like for you? How often is your baby on a play mat or in a bouncer etc?

I'm not really sure what my wake windows should look like and how long she should spend in my arms or on her play mat etc Per wake window / day.

Our little one is a 29 week old preemie, currently 10 week plus 5. His due date is Monday. Only been home two weeks tomorrow.
We are going with the flow and working round him at the moment as we are still working stuff out. Hoping to get the start of a routine going in the next couple of weeks as we are doing shift during the night. He likes to sleep all day and party all night which is ok whilst we are both off but when my partner goes back to work it’ll be hard.

During his short wake windows we put him in his bouncer or on his play mat which he loves. This can be for a few minutes or a good hour or so. Hoping to do more tummy time ect as his wake windows get longer.

Arm jerking, stiffening and discomfort

My 10 month old is constantly flailing her arms. She also thrusts her arms out in a jerking movement and stiffens her body. She has started to shout with it like shes in discomfort. My GP and the hospital just say its excitement or frustration. We are concerned there are most neurological issues that are not being taken seriously. Its hard to capture it on video as as soon as I get my phone out she stops! I have a few videos that show it well though.

She has had an EEG which was normal. This has been going for months now though....

Any one else's little one do this??

Is there something I can give my 2 month old for constipation? 🤔

My baby girl is 2 months old, and she recently went through a formula change, she was going regularly, and then all of a sudden she has stopped being regular... its also presenting itself as diarrhea, is that normal??

Anyone have any positive sleep stories?

My son is 11 months now. He slept fine as a newborn then the 4 month regression hit and he started sleeping through after that but then around 8 months his sleep was up and down and we've had two months of split nights. I've tried everything lengthening and shortening naps and wake windows, moving bedtime.earlier or later and nothing seems to work. Can anyone give me any hope that things may just resolve on their own?

HELP

My almost 4 month old has always been somewhat a shit sleeper, needing contact naps during the day that have recently had a stop limit at 30 minutes, to waking 1-2 times in the night sleeping in her next to me, to now, over the past few weeks got progressively worse, still contact naps during the day but fights it so hard, has to be rocked with quite some momentum. To slowly each night becoming a co sleeping baby. Which I hate! And I’m also sure she’s not the biggest fan either. To now waking 4-6 times a night, I know it’s more than likely sleep regression but surely there must be a trick I’m missing here? Half the time she won’t even settle on me day or night, or anyone she just cries whilst you’re trying to rock her but would never fall asleep independently so we have to do this. To night time still tossing and turning and crying whilst on me. Patience is dripping away, and my bags are coming in thick and fast 😭😂

Please share your thoughts 🙂

My 6 month old suddenly decided sleeping isn’t her thing anymore 😄

Until this point she was a relatively good sleeper. Honestly I can’t complain.
However, this week she sleeps from 7 pm until 1 am peacefully then from 1 am until around 5 am she’s in her active sleep mode.

She’s not waking up but she keeps waking me up with her sudden movements and little cries in her sleep. She’s lifting her legs up and then bashing them down. I’m half asleep because I don’t know if she’s going to wake up and need me or not.

I don’t co-sleep, but for the last two nights I had to because that was the only way to keep her calmer in her sleep.
Anyone else had similar experiences? 🙂
