Hi all,

I am not a September 2025 mumma but due to be a September 2026 Mumma soon.

What are the pros and cons of having a September baby? Have you any recommendations based on clothing/time of the year?

Did the dark and long winter nights make the newborn nights harder/easier?

Weather? Having a newborn in the autumn?

I had an April baby last time so spent most of the spring/summer with a newborn.

Thank you for any insight or tips.

Congratulations! My first is a March baby, loved that I was pregnant throughout winter . With the September baby it felt like I was pregnant for a long time 🤣 , pregnant is all major holidays Christmas, valentine , Easter, birthdays etc 🤣 and the heat was unbearable . Then once she was born it was still abit warm then winter came ( dressing her up for outside was awful , only tiny little baby with 100 layers of clothes to keep them warm 🤣) . Wishing you a safe delivery .

C section hole

Hi, I am 8 weeks postpartum and I noticed one week ago a hole in scar after c section. I went to GP, they say nothing major. Has any experienced this before, any recommendations as it’s not getting any better.

BOY OR GIRL?!

I am 11w 5 day. I had my ultrasound, and these were my scans. I previously had 2 boys, this pregnancy is completely different. I thought it looked like a boy but the midwife said it is a placenta.

Elective C Section

Kensington Wing, Lindo Wing or Portlands?

Is it realistic to have a 3.5 hour drive home?

Growth rate slowed down

I had my second growth scan today and they told me my baby’s growth rate had dropped. 😢 it was in the 60th percentile and three weeks later at 34 weeks, she is at 24th percentile. Has this happened to anyone else? All my friends say they could be inaccurate scan measurements and if she is active then not to worry but the doctor said if she’s continuing not to grow at a good rate, I could be looking at induction or a c section around 38/39 weeks. I guess I didn’t mentally prepare for that and now I’m a bit afraid as I’ve never had surgery/don’t know what to expect. Any words of advice or encouragement are appreciated.

Best birthing hospital in L.A county?

What birthing Hospital do you recommend in L.A. County? Did you have a good experience there? I'm closest to Amtelope Valley Medical Center but I want to go somewhere else.
