My 10 month old keeps waking up at 5am and we can’t figure out why. He’s usually asleep by 7.30pm and then seems to wake up at 5am. He will then fuss for an hour and eventually falls back asleep. I know it’s not the fact he goes to sleep at 7.30am because we’ve tried later times and it’s not light in his room because we have blackout blinds. Can’t seem to figure out why it’s 5am that he wakes up??

We found moving her nap later helped with this. Took a few days to adjust though.
But basically everything is a phase, we had 2 weeks of 5am get ups at 18months which was a real shock to the system after so long in routine.

Honestly it’s a phase, don’t change anything as it’ll go back to normal! Our little girl did the same at 10 months!

Yeah just a phase I had like a month of this went back to normal then for a week or two she started waking up at 9:30am which didn’t last very long unfortunately 😭

Most babies are only capable of sleeping 10-11 hours at night. If he’s falling asleep at 7:30-5 that’s 9.5 hours. Close to the average sleep time, maybe sleep needs have changed and need less day sleep 🥰

We had the same at this age and I can’t remember why! Could it be he’s cold? They say 5am is the coldest time of the night/morning. When is his last nap of the day? Maybe a longer wake window is needed before bed? X

My baby girl is 2 months old, and she recently went through a formula change, she was going regularly, and then all of a sudden she has stopped being regular... its also presenting itself as diarrhea, is that normal??

My baby girl is 6 weeks old. She sleeps so well during the night, no fuss and is now only waking up once for a feed!
Since she’s born she’s slept really good at night time but always wants contact naps during the day. Everytime I put her down she would wake it never worked.
But I feel like in the last week she’s struggling to settle even with contact naps. Takes her ages to settle like she’s fighting falling asleep.
Did anyone else experience this? Any advice?

Morning everyone! Just wondering what a typical day looks like for you? How often is your baby on a play mat or in a bouncer etc?
I'm not really sure what my wake windows should look like and how long she should spend in my arms or on her play mat etc Per wake window / day.

Does anyone else’s 3 month old suddenly hate their car seat? He used to be fine in it but now every drive he is hysterical to the point of no consoling without stopping the car. Is it the car seat or just a phase?
