So, I’m adamant I want an Elected C-Section. I have a diagnosed severe panic disorder and I need to be in control. I’ve already spoken to the hospital who have confirmed it’s a genuine reason to have one and that I won’t be told I can’t due to my “condition”, I won’t go into detail but due to fear it has made me make some poor decisions in the past which they are aware of. I really don’t want any horror stories but I’d love to hear from people who have had a pleasant experience to help put my mind at rest. I’m still very early! But the main reason for my panic attacks is not being able to have a controlled arrival of the baby and I have a slight fear of medical implement’s. If anyone has had a good experience I’d love to chat!

i had my elective c section just over a week ago as i wanted to be in control this time, my first daughter’s natural birth (3 years ago) didn’t go to plan. besides it being a million degrees in the hospital my c section was a beautiful healing experience and having experienced both id personally recommend an elective c section to anyone
I’m 31 weeks and I think I’ve made my mind up about a vbac.
I think I’ll book in an elective for 41 weeks (as late as they’ll let me) and see if labour naturally happens before then.
I’m hoping this is the right decision but it’s difficult to differentiate fear over intuition.
Has anyone got any advice on having a vbac? How to physically prepare beforehand and in the hospital?
Just for context, there will be just under 16 months between my first and this baby

I’m 34 + 2 and I noticed when I was just in the shower that I’m starting to leak colostrum. Is it too soon to start collecting?

So I’ve got a c section booked for Thursday 27th but if you go in for reduced movements before hands … do they bring your c section forward? Has anyone been in this situation? I’m 38 weeks tomorrow ( Sunday ) xx

People talk about an energy boost and feeling more yourself in the 2nd trimester. I’m 14w3days today and still feel as tired, low and not myself as I did in the first trimester!! Did other people find this and when did you start feeling better?? xxx
