I’m not really sure what I am posting for maybe some advice or support my head is all over the place. I don’t have a support system or many friends but need to get this off my chest 😩 This has been a very smooth pregnancy so far no issues throughout 12 and 20 week scan all fine. Had a 28 week growth scan yesterday and baby is measuring large (4 weeks ahead) 91st percentile but HC and AC >99% percentile. Wasn’t too worried as my last baby measured large and was indeed larger but know to take growth scans with a pinch of salt. The sonographer then said he has a lateral ventricle that is measuring 10.9mm and given that as well as his head measuring large and apparently an irregular head shape he is concerned and referring me to fetal medicine. I burst out into tears because as soon as I heard fetal medicine I just thought to myself they think something is wrong. I wasn’t given any information, what to expect or just anything about what it is or what it could mean for the baby. I’m beside myself with worry and am an incredibly anxious person. Has anyone experienced this and could advise what to expect? Or just anything really because I googled and of course worst case scenarios came up!
Thank you xx

Not had experience myself but a friend of mine had something similar with 11.2mm. Between 10mm and 12mm is usually mild and just a monitor for infection so may involve more scans/check ups. My friend had a fetal MRI to get a better picture and the doctor took a closer look at the baby's genetics but there was nothing concerning, baby was just a big baby in the end at nearly 11 pounds.

I’m 31 weeks and I think I’ve made my mind up about a vbac.
I think I’ll book in an elective for 41 weeks (as late as they’ll let me) and see if labour naturally happens before then.
I’m hoping this is the right decision but it’s difficult to differentiate fear over intuition.
Has anyone got any advice on having a vbac? How to physically prepare beforehand and in the hospital?
Just for context, there will be just under 16 months between my first and this baby

my son doesn’t really have any baby friends. I’m hoping to make friends with some mums so they could come to his first birthday party with their babies in October… Cake toys games and music… I just want to make it a special day for him so he can have some buddies.. 💞

People talk about an energy boost and feeling more yourself in the 2nd trimester. I’m 14w3days today and still feel as tired, low and not myself as I did in the first trimester!! Did other people find this and when did you start feeling better?? xxx

I’m 40+5 today and a VBAC and feeling the pressure from midwives to have intervention- anyone else waiting it out? Or any recent positive overdue experiences?

What are the pros and cons of having a September baby? Have you any recommendations based on clothing/time of the year?
Did the dark and long winter nights make the newborn nights harder/easier?
Weather? Having a newborn in the autumn?
I had an April baby last time so spent most of the spring/summer with a newborn.
Thank you for any insight or tips.
