Any tips for a newborn baby that is fighting his sleep? I’m finding that from when my baby wakes up for his first morning feed he then won’t settle back down for several hours and fights going back to sleep. You’ll think he’s drifted off and then PING eyes wide open again, he’s then getting himself very overtired. He’s only 17 days old and he’s going 3-4 hours fighting his sleep, whatever we try doesn’t seem to work. Any tips of tricks to try are please welcomed!

Swaddle, dark room, white noise. Keep an eye on how long he’s awake for so he’s not overtired but just try not to worry, he’ll fall asleep eventually ❤️

If you're wanting to put them down then we stretched a tshirt over the cot mattress that one of us wore the day before so they had our smell, warmed the mattress first, find some low pitched quiet music (our son would fall asleep to a country singer with a low voice, one of his quieter albums!), try max three times to put down then give up until next time or give a contact nap otherwise I'd drive myself mad trying - not necessarily all at once but some things that worked for us! X

Put them in a carrier and do some hoovering. The mixture of movement and white noise from things like hoover, washing machine, etc worked well for us. Our LO just didn't want to be put down.
Just had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago, we lost the baby at 27 weeks,
my friend is staying who I haven’t seen since before I fell pregnant, she’s just had a baby and brought him to stay, but I feel I’m always crying about her baby, and getting emotional, we haven’t dine one nice thing as I’m bed rotting most of the day!
So tell me do I need to get a grip or do I have the right to feel upset x

Can someone send me reliable academic and peer reviewed links to research which shows that the cry it out method damages children’s mental health please.
While we haven’t and don’t plan to do CIO, I see so many comments from people stating things like it damages mental and quite frankly really horrible comments to parents asking questions about it without including the scientific evidence. It’s not fair to judge other parents choices.

I’m 19 weeks and my boobs before pregnancy were 30dd and now they’ve gotten even more massive and heavy. I’m non-binary and sometimes my boobs give me gender dysphoria. Usually I use binders from Spectrum Outfitters but I can’t fit into them anymore. I’m wondering if there’s any binders that are good for in pregnancy. My boobs feel like ROCKS!! I don’t even think I could achieve a flat chest with a binder but anything that can make them flatter would be nice.
I know this is a really niche question 🥲 Any help is appreciated.

How do moms with bpd deal with it. I don’t struggle with my daughter at all but more with other people around me like the guy I’m talking to and family. I try to go without medicine but I feel like I just screw everything up. She doesn’t aggravate me or anything I just struggle with the other people. Should I go back on my medicine or is it normal to be so annoyed with people around me .

I know this sound like a wierd question but I'm trying to understand myself.
I barely cry over myself or my own problems. I would say probs about once a year or so when I'm feeling super overwhelmed or if I'm feeling lonely.
Don't get me wrong, show me a social media post of injustice or someones healing story and I will cry.
But like for meee.. If I'm feeling stressed, upset etc. You will never catch me crying over a man either. I've always had that oh wells what will be will be.
I'm also a very blunt and direct person. I find myself often in the position of listening to everyone's problems and giving them advice.
I just wonder if there is anyone out there similar to me....
