Whyyyyyyy won’t she sleep lol

So my 6 week old we’ve discovered has reflux (dr’s say it’s normal I don’t know that I really believe them but okay) and she has some colic going on. Usually she stays up all night screeching like she’s using sonar to reach out to all the other babies in America and sleeps all day. Well her screeching has lessened over the last few days which is a win for me so long as it stays that way, and her night stretches have been longer but for the last couple days her day naps are getting shorter. Is this normal or what am I doing wrong here? We are doing calm, quiet, dark nap times and everything and usually before she was sleeping for almost 4 hrs at a time during the day but now it’s flipped most of her screeching is being done in the day and her naps are only about an hour long and her screeching is usually done by 3am at night and she’s sleeping 4 hrs at a time. Oh and the summoning all the other babies in America starts at around 10-11pm and goes until anywhere from 3a-5a

Omg I'm living the same with my baby 😭

My son will be 6 weeks old on Thursday and he has reflux and laryngomalacia he was the same way. His dr recently prescribed him something for his reflux and that has seemed to help. I also give him gripe water once a night to help and swaddle him usually that will make him poop and then he will sleep pretty good after that! The other day I done that around 10:30 and he slept until 6 that morning! I’m sending you night time sleep vibes!

My son does the same thing and is 6 weeks old. He’s sleeping less during the day and is giving me about 4hours at night. He drinks 4 to 5 ozs at a time and seems to spit up about an oz and 2 hours later wants more. He will wake up at 3 and stay up till 6 in the morning

Tilting the Next to Me

Does anyone have any advice? My midwife recommended tilting our next to me slightly to help with my baby’s mucous issue however the health visitor really advised against it - but annoyingly tilting it worked? Baby is 3 weeks old and refusing to lie on his back flat as he just wakes up straight away 🥴🫠

When does it get better

This is so hard. Witching hour is more like ‘5 hours’ and sometimes is just off and on all day. It’s so stressful and I feel so helpless some days. She screams and it goes right through me. I’m lucky that it’s not crying non stop like colic, it’s off and on, but it’s still horrendous. We’re at at 10 weeks, does it ever change???
