Does anyone have any advice? My midwife recommended tilting our next to me slightly to help with my baby’s mucous issue however the health visitor really advised against it - but annoyingly tilting it worked? Baby is 3 weeks old and refusing to lie on his back flat as he just wakes up straight away 🥴🫠

I tilted mine slightly when baby had a reflux stage as he wasnt then flat on his back if sicky. I also use it if baby hasnt winded well x

We tried it once but baby rolled down to the bottom during the night, so didn’t do it again.

It is designed to be inclined to help for babies with reflux. Ignore HV it’s perfectly safe to incline the baby.

I inclined it. I put towels under it along with able to put one side up a bit more. It wasn’t a crazy incline. But there wasn’t any problem with baby moving or anything

I always put my kids at an inclined when they have a bit of a cold/ stuffy nose, both my kids were born early and thats the only thing that helped them with their breathing. Not sure why hv advised against it, its safe to do so

I used this pillow/cushion for a little while that provided a slight incline, never felt unsafe. I say if its working for you and your LO isn’t in danger of suffocating, don’t mess with things that aren’t broken

I inclined ours and had no issues, baby was absolutely fine and helped with reflux and sick

We were advised to incline it by an ENT consultant so decided to take that advice over NCT info etc xxx

I put a folded up towel at the end her head is.. although tbh she moves so much it doesn’t always stay the head is at

The advice is not to let them sleep when inclined as they don’t have adequate neck muscles for head control and can obstruct their airways. But some baby beds exist which are wedge shaped and designed for reflux and I have seen healthcare professionals advise inclined sleep so who knows what to trust. Airway obstruction risk makes sense to me but as they get older and muscles improve I’m sure it’s less of an issue.
It's not toward the baby but my husband

This is so hard. Witching hour is more like ‘5 hours’ and sometimes is just off and on all day. It’s so stressful and I feel so helpless some days. She screams and it goes right through me. I’m lucky that it’s not crying non stop like colic, it’s off and on, but it’s still horrendous. We’re at at 10 weeks, does it ever change???

Had my baby boy 5 days ago and had an episiotomy as baby wasn’t coming out just had the midwife out and my stiches have came away but no sign of infection but am still really sore especially when going to the toliet. If anyone has had anything similar how long did it take to heal or generally just stop being as sore
