Potty training regression

He might regress but from my experience my son went straight back like nothing happened, he’d been at grandmas for a few weeks and was wearing a pull up all day and going toilet in it so I thought he’d fully forgotten but as soon as we got home he was saying he needs to go potty and he was back in underwear so I think he’ll be fine

I dont think he will regress. I put pull ups on all my kids when we travel, just in case they wee while sleeping on the plane. As soon as we reach our destination they come straight off. They never regressed

He may regress slightly but if you think about when we’re unwell, our bodies including toilet habits change a bit! It’ll be okay!

Are you finding normally he’s dry through the nights btw?
We’ve just moved our 2.5 year old to wearing normal knickers and she’s stayed dry through night until morning for last 4 days

We've put my daughter in pull ups when ill on occasion and she's been potty trained coming up on 2 years.

Never really caused any regressions.

We are on day 3 of illness and he has really surprised me!
Husband had to sleep downstairs with him as I was with the newborn and he even got up in the middle of the night to go for a wee and pulled his pull up down!
Have kept him out of a pull up during the day as much as possible and he hadn't regressed at all and is back to weeing/pooing on the potty as normal.
He is currently napping (has been asleep 2 plus hours) and is just wearing pants, hoping he hasn't gone for a wee in his sleep 🤞
