Progressive seeking local soulmate

Hoping for a natural connection. Someone with the same energy and right chemistry. Where people are surprised that we’ve been friends for six months and not 16 years. Someone my age that can share in the same nostalgia. Someone I can call on the way to pick up my kid from daycare and chat about nothing for 10 minutes. Text you on a random Saturday and see if you’re up for thrifting. Someone I don’t have to scramble to clean my house for. Someone that will listen when I vent about my husband, but know that I don’t mean half of what I say - I love him and I’m just upset. Someone I can pee in front of lol
The woman, I plan to spend my 80s with living in an old Victorian house with a garden and a library and pets long after our husbands have passed. I’m looking for a companion.

Feeling lonely

So my partner went back to work on Monday after having 3 weeks off. Monday itself wasnt too bad because I had made plans to see a friend, but yesterday I really struggled because we didnt see anyone. I have friends that I can message but its not really the same, and I have plans later in the week that im looking forward to but on the days where its just me and my two daughters(3 weeks & 9), I feel so alone. And it is only day 3 today so I know it'll get better but when my oldest (9) goes back to school next week I feel like its gonna be worse cos I will be on my own. Will it get better or will I just get used to it?

Any other hiking mums on here?🥾⛰️

This is me and my little hiker 🥾🤎

We love hiking and we’re looking for some new places to explore in the UK!

Any other hiking mums on here with little hiking buddies? Where have you been that you’d really recommend with little ones? We’d love some ideas for our next adventure 🥰✨

Mums on housing benefit / universal credit

How do you ever get out of the cycle? If you work and slowly save over years to maybe one day break the cycle and purchase your own property but then as soon as you hit £6k in saving your benefits decrease then stop completely at £16k. You’ll never be able to own anything if you’re having to pay a privately rented accomodation by yourself with no help but if you recieve help you’ll have to recieve it forever cause you’ll never be able to save to buy? So confused

Men, ugh

I think my husband has more faith in other men than I do. He keeps making comments on me sleeping with other men or chatting them up online. Who tf told him that other men were that interesting? I would sooner go home and play with my rose than I would entertain another man. Especially after the BS I've been through with hubs. I'm not one of those the grass is greener on the other side type of woman. I'm the type of person that enjoys my own company and would sooner choose to be alone than entertain another man. Men don't do shit but cause headaches and mess up your PH balance. Fuck them all tbh! He's lucky I'm still with him if I'm being completely honest. But let me just sip on this coffee.

Partner

If you ask your partner about his day or if they have had a good day do they ask you back?
