13months. Going to daycare in about a month, and I already am not the favourite parent, she only wants me for comfort and bedtime. All about hubby during the day to play - when she was younger, she screamed at me all day but only smiled for her dad. I only got smiles like 9 months onwards.
She loves MIL more than anyone right now- at her baptism and various other special occasions I wanted to share with her, she was throat punching me to jump out of my arms into MIL’s arms. Our photos together at these events are all forced, and she’s crying. All her special moment photos are with MIL. To be fair, she doesnt want hubby either when MIL is around lol.
I am scared that when I start work and she goes to daycare, we will have even less time and she will care about me even less.
Anyone else deal with this? Daycare and already not being the favourite parent? My heart is crushed every weekend, when she spends time with my hubby and MIL. She doesnt look for me, and if I leave and come back she barely acknowledges when I return. My heart is already breaking

I been their girl it will be fine them babies gone always love momma and want attention from u after daycare my son comes right under me and craves attention from me after a long day in daycare it’s so reassuring as I felt the same way about him loosing the bond and connection we built and shared don’t worry momma ur baby ain’t gone loose focus on u

I think its a bit normal especially when baby has a community and tribe. My baby comes to me for comfort etc as well and loooooooves the fun she gets with daddy and aunt and grandma. She is a kid. And i think variety and fun causes them to have excitement for people they dont see as often. Have u done a trial run for daycare as well? Leaving her for a few hours versus whole day. My lil screams when i try to leave her at gym daycare. She thrilled for time with daddy and grandma but i worry a but about leaving her at daycare as she seems really stressed.

You won't lose your bond ❣️ she will probably be so excited to see you when you pick her up. It will fill up your heart ❤️

SAHM with a 10 month old , tearing up ! Omg ❤️

It actually helped with my husband not being the favourite that he went to pick her up and she was really happy to see him and give him a cuddle (if I’m there he doesn’t get a look in). It’s massively helped their bond to do that. If possible I’d get dad to do drop off and then you do pick up so you’re seeing the benefit.
IT'S ONE FKING THING AFTER ANOTHER AND I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE
I slammed the door shut today and I said "NO MORE STUFF" because I couldn't take it anymore. My 3.5yo kept pushing and pushing for one more toy and to do this and do that and I literally fucking lost my cool
That is all

Currently in hospital staying overnight in the children's ward because my daughter born on Monday had her 3 day check yesterday and she's lost 15% of her body weight 😭
With my son i had to express for 8 weeks due to flat nipples so I totally expected that this time too but for her first feed she latched perfectly and pulled them right out doing a full 15 minute feed! She struggled a bit more in the later hospital feeds but I was told its just likely due to tiredness from birth.
Midwife came on Wednesday and I asked if I should maybe add some bottles cause i feel like baby cant be getting much milk because shes very on and off doing very short feeds and she cries a lot and they said its normal and just sounds like cluster feeding and I shouldn't be expressing or adding bottle before 3 weeks plus since shes having wet and dirty nappies shes fine.
But then when another midwife came Thursday they weighed her and said she'd gone from 8lb 10oz at birth down to 7lb 6oz and they watched her feed and said I needed to give her a bottle immediately then called paediatrics who asked for me to bring her in...
They did a blood test and it came bad that her sodium and potassium levels were really bad and she needs to be admitted and I have to express at least 60ml every 2 hours for her to be bottle fed with.
I feel awful about it and I'm so worried about her, feeling guilty that my sons at home worried about us both, I'm worried about how to handle feeding back home too. I started off saying I dont mind expressing cause I did for my son and then when he was 8 weeks old we just switched to breastfeeding when he was stronger no issue and the staff were all really surprised saying thats super unusual and if im switching to expressing and giving bottles for several weeks they can't see me being able to go back to breastfeeding as babies typically develop a preference for how much easier the bottles are. I had no issue switching my my son like I said so its blown my mind!
Of course id rather she was fed but still now im worried we wont be able to switch back and I just feel so panicked about so many things rn...

How did you get through newborn times and being alone? My postpartum anxiety has been crazy and when my baby cries I get so overwhelmed rn. In a week I am going to be alone as a SAHM and am feeling so nervous and unprepared for what’s to come. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also if any of you are pumping moms, how do you pump while caring for baby?

Hi has anyone got any tips of making their babies sleep past 5am? Currently breastfeeding my 14 week old, we do the whole bath, feed and bed routine.
He has his bath around 8pm, and usually fed and asleep by 8:45/9pm - in his next to me.
After this he wakes up at 1am for a feed and will go back to sleep but it takes around an hour to settle him back down again in his next to me. He then wakes up again at 4, will fall asleep on me and then wakes up again from 5am, and just refuses to go back to sleep.
My partner has left us so I’m currently doing it all on my own, any advice would be great fully appreciated, just need abit more sleep!
