Baby bed time - alone?

Is anyone putting their baby to sleep upstairs/in the bed room and not staying in the room with them? I normally put her to bed at 10pm in the next to me and then go to bed myself but she tends to fall asleep at 8pm ish these days but it’s broken sleep as she gets serious FOMO. I would get a camera but wasn’t sure if she was too young to be alone (11 weeks) I would get a monitor, I just don’t fancy an 8pm bedtime and some time with my partner alone would be nice!!

I do it, my baby goes to sleep at 8pm too, I put her in her crib and turn the monitor on and leave the door open. I always go up to check on her every half an hour or so anyway because I get paranoid xx

My baby is also 11 weeks old and has been going to bed upstairs alone for the last 3 weeks maybe. I have a baby monitor and he sleeps from 7-8pm. We always have the monitor with us and always look in :) it’s nice to be able to spend some time with my other half again in the evenings!

Iv been doing it with mine since 4 weeks and she’s now 10 weeks- sleeps from 8 until 4! Just check her on the camera frequently! 2nd child syndrome hits differently lol

I do every so often with the monitor and owlet on! Also trying to do a few naps in the week upstairs so I’m not constantly nap trapped or entertaining! My girl is nearly 3 months old

My lil girl is 10 weeks goes to sleep at about 6pm in the evenings, stays in her Moses basket until we go upstairs. However, she does sleep on her own upstairs during the day for her naps! I just keep a camera on her 🥰

The other day we put our toddler and baby to bed at similar times and we both came out of the room at the same time was glorious and have been putting her to bed up here on her own once she’s had her last feed at 7:30 and works for us but I used to go to bed at 8pm with my 1st because I was so knackered and do the feeds etc but now I couldn’t see it any other way to keep the same routine for both

I do and have done since 3 weeks old 🤷🏼‍♀️ my boys have always slept better in their own room. Dexter wouldn’t settle in my room so he moved into his at 3 weeks old and Oscar followed at I think 5 weeks old they both go bed at 8pm (put in their cots awake, dark room, walk of door shut) they wake up at 7:30/8am it’s great ! We worked on independent sleep from birth because I simply cannot get two babies to sleep at the same time alone . If I was to do one after another it’s guaranteed they’d wake each other up

Water for 5 week old

I took my 5 week old son to the GP because his poo turned green (after being yellow for some weeks) and he started to strain a lot more which was waking him up. Doctor said since he is pooing 6 times a day sometimes more (exclusively breastfed), he might be dehydrated so to give him a tea spoon of water after each feed. He is having 6+ wet nappies a day so i don’t believe he is dehydrated and was told at the hospital that breastfed babies can poo after each feed and it’s normal. Has anyone else had similar advice before because i know water could be dangerous at this age.

Can a 4 years old have badness inside/be a bad person already?

My friends daughter is only 4 but is really cruel. Always has to make someone feel bad or less, forcing them to give her what they have, excluding them, she is always so serious even with adults like she hates everyone and everything and only smiles if she is doing something bad. She makes her friends beg for food for instance and when my daughter runs excited to see her she looks at her with disgust and walks away (even if she later tries to find her) another small thing she tries to get my attention copying things that my daughter just done like asking me to wash her hands (I think is a competition with my little one) and she has 0 respect for other adults. For instance her mum asked me to help her as she was in a dangerous bit of the playpark and her mum was feeding the baby. She said in a very rude way: go and sit with my mum over there. I'm pulling my daughter away from her just now because I know my daughter loves her but also causes her stress as when they are together my daughter has episodes she wouldn't have afterwards. Opinions please

When did everyone’s baby’s start sleeping through the night?

My boy is almost 6 months old and has never slept through the night, he wakes up at least twice but mostly more than that. Last night he was up every hour! He always want a bottle to go back to sleep, even when he’s not hungry and I’ve tried everything to stop the bottles through the night, dummies, rocking, co sleeping but he still needs them for comfort even if it’s only a few sips. Thing is sometimes he will drink the full thing, so I feel I can’t stop offering completely just incase he really is hungry. I don’t know what I’m hoping from this, maybe some advice or hope that it does get better…
