Please don’t judge

So I never knew I was pregnant (I’m currently 11 months postpartum), I started getting kicking sensations and then my stomach started to move. I then took a pregnancy test 2 weeks ago and had a scan 4 days later. I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant.

I feel extremely guilty that I didn’t know for MANY reasons 😭

1. No screening can be done.
2. I started Mounjaro 6 weeks before finding out I was pregnant 😭 (I was roughly 19 weeks pregnant).

I genuinely feel like i have failed my little boy and I cry nearly everyday.

My question now is, I went for a private scan and baby was healthy and measured perfectly except with his tummy measuring a few days smaller. I then had a NHS scan and a midwife appointment and they plotted him on the growth chart and apparently he’s measuring really small😭😭😭

I had a call with the OB today and he said he’s not convinced he’s a small baby but he’s sending me for another scan. Obviously I’m REALLY stressed and now feel even more awful!!!

1. Has anyone experienced something like this to find out that the baby was actually fine and the plotting was wrong?

2. Has anyone taken mounjaro while pregnant and had a healthy baby🥺

Please as I have mentioned, I’m already aware I’ve messed up so PLEASE be kind.

Hey, I think you are OK! Have you let your GP and HV know this? They can safely monitor you and flag any issues if they arise.

What matters now is that you stop the medication and get medical advice without delay. Try not to catastrophise. Many people in this situation go on to have healthy pregnancies.

Having taken Mounjaro before you knew you were pregnant is currently regarded as low risk.

A single dose early in pregnancy is unlikely to cause clear harm, but no amount of Mounjaro has been confirmed safe during pregnancy. The risk depends on timing and gestation. Get medical advice as soon as possible rather than concluding.

There is not enough human data to say it is safe and Animal data does not translate directly to humans, and the human evidence so far is more reassuring than the animal data, but it is limited.

Fertility can return suddenly while on Mounjaro. Also, the medication might impact the effectiveness of oral contraceptives. These are things worth knowing.

I hope this reassures you abit x

I haven't been on mounjaro before and knew I was pregnant early on with my little boy though had hyperemesis gravidarum in early stages so was not able to eat much and could not stand the vitamins for a while!

However, my baby was measuring small. My initial growth scan he was measuring on the 1st centile and then my consultant scan he was measuring on the 4th centile. He was born 8lb 1oz! So was a perfectly healthy sized baby. He was born at 41 weeks exactly and unfortunately ended up being an emergency caesarean. I was induced and got to full dilation ready to push but he moved and was then breach and diagonal so was rushed to theatre.

Congratulations on your little baby! I know it's easier said than done but try not to stress yourself out. You can only ever act on information you had at that time and you didn't know you were pregnant!

I think I was probably on it for at least the first 3 weeks of this pregnancy and drinking willy nilly and she's measuring well and healthy

Worrying about it doesn't change it, all you can do is make healthy choices going forward

Listen to your body! I REPEAT LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!!

My baby girl made her arrival August 26th with a due date of September 15th via Scheduled C Section. I was at work on August 25th and started having bad abdominal cramping and lower back pain. Originally my doctor told me to go home and shower and see if that helped because it might’ve just been round ligament pain but I already have a son and knew this wasn’t the same pain. I went to the hospital and she failed her NST. The next morning I went for an ultrasound and she looked good on the ultrasound but on the monitor her movements still weren’t right. My doctor called for an emergency c section within the next 15 minutes and it all happened so fast. My spinal failed so I had to be put to sleep. Turns out after talking to my doctor after delivery, I had a placenta abruption! Thank God I listened to my body and my gut and went to the hospital. My co workers had been noticing me walking in pain all day and I pushed through but decided that night something wasn’t right so I told my fiance we need to go now. At first I thought I was just overthinking and turns out I wasn’t. Now I have a beautiful baby girl named Jewell 💎

To invite or not to invite the bully

We want to do a whole class birthday party but are a bit undecided mainly because we have a bully in the class.

He picks on our child a lot and we have needed teacher's intervention often.

The bully made a small birthday party and obvs we were not included. But if we make a whole class party and don't include him, it would be mean.

Labour - FTM Question!!

Hi guys, I am currently 39+4 days (internally screaming) and Labour could come any moment now.

Without annoying the majority of mamas out there, my pregnancy has been fairly straight forward and I have had a fairly pleasant experience.

I’m a bit concerned I’m not mentally prepared for labour and tbh I don’t really know what to expect - my periods were always pretty easy (if not heavy due to PCOS) so I don’t really know what “period cramps” feel like and what to expect.

Basically… can someone explain a contraction to me like a 5 year old 😂? How does it feel? I’ve been getting Braxton Hicks so will early labour feel the same?

Thank you !!!

August baby💞

Not been on here in a while but my baby girl has arrived✨14/08✨ so she’s 2weeks old today. Had a traumatic birth to say the least, ended up having to have an emerg section, but my baby arrived safe and sound in the end and that’s the main thing. 6lb 5oz and she’s the apple of my eye. Her big sister adores her also 🎀💖🥹
