I feel awful writing this. Me and my lovely husband haven’t been together long - 14 months which I know sounds crazy! I love him so much. We have a 5 week old who I adore more than anything. But I miss it being just me and my husband so much. We’re snapping at each other and I feel stressed all the time. It was a really difficult pregnancy towards the end and this is maybe even more difficult. I’m mourning the ease of our old life (which I know didn’t last long!!) I’m a bit sensitive and wanted to just put this out there. Any insights?

My husband and I rarely ever argued before I was pregnant and then had a newborn, I still wouldn’t say we were bad then, but we definitely argued more than we ever had. It’s so hard during pregnancy and those first few months of having a newborn, on both of you.
Our LO is now almost 15 months and we’ve never been a happier and stronger couple! I love seeing him as a dad and he’s an amazing husband to me.
I think it’ll feel hard for now, but I’m sure things will get easier, as you find your feet as new parents. It’s absolutely normal to still miss your old life though, this is a massive change and completely consumes you to start with, don’t feel guilty for thinking that 😊

Please please feel free to message me! So... i feel lile we have very similar positions - i do not judge how long you have been together.
My husband and I were in a LDR, first visit (i only known him a month) he asked me to be his gf, second visit 2 mo ths later we were engaged and then a month after that we were married.
Somewhere in only 4 months knowing eachother we decided to have a baby and he was to come here to the UK from the USA to be my life partner.... we actually havent soent THAT much time together considering we are about to have a baby, we already feel its going ro be super tough but one thing we made sure of is that we would NEVER prioritise the baby over our marriage.
Never cancel date night because of the baby, never hold grudges and resentment because of the baby and even know we haven't experienced meeting him yet - we feel very passionately about making this work by setting clear boundaries 😌
Theres a character limit on this but yeah.. message me and we can chat!!
Hi I need help
my 4 almost 5 month old is feeding so much at night- 4 times last night. She is combi fed, she doesn’t have many bottled tho, only 1 a day and she only had around 70mls. She feeds often in the day every 2hrs ish. I’m not sure what I can do to stretch out the feeds in the day or night. I’m so tired of waking up so often now. Last night she fed 12:00qm, 1.30am, 3.30 am and 5.30 it’s killer I try and soothe her other ways but it doesn’t work.

What are we using for daytime naps for our little ones? She is currently 3 months and has been having her day time naps in pram bassinet but I don't want to do that anymore.
Upstairs she has a next to me, so just after something comfortable for her to sleep in downstairs and nicely matches the living room aesthetics 😂

Breastfed babies who are sleeping 6+ hours at night, what are your routines? What time do you put them down? When do they wake up?

When the time comes to start collecting colostrum in a couple weeks, how is everyone doing it??? All the tips and advice welcome please!
This is my second baby but with my first I couldn’t do it all! Just couldn’t work out how to do it / get it in the syringes, even though I did go on to breastfeed with a good supply. I have already started leaking a bit this pregnancy.
I have ordered some 1ml syringes but nothing else yet.

Hi moms, I really need some advice from other exclusively breastfeeding moms who may have experienced something similar. 🥺
My baby is exclusively breastfed, but she sometimes goes 11–12 days without pooping. When she does poop, the stool is usually soft and mustard yellow.
I have tried lactulose as recommended—the first time it worked, but the second time it didn’t. After that, the doctor recommended glycerin suppositories. Sometimes after waiting around 12 days, I have to use glycerin to help her poop. There have even been times when she didn’t poop after the glycerin, so I had to wait another few days and try again.
I’m getting really worried because I don’t know if this is normal for exclusively breastfed babies or if anyone else’s baby has gone this long without pooping.
Have any of your exclusively breastfed babies experienced this? How long would your baby go without pooping, and what helped? I would really appreciate hearing your experiences. ❤️
