I’m 37+1 today with my third and my second I went into spontaneous labour at 36+6 so I really thought she’d be here by now 😩 Anyways over the last week I’ve been dry heaving, actually been sick once, I’ve had diarrhoea and loose stools, such a weak bladder, severe insomnia and crazy pressure down below. Every time she moves I can literally feel the pain of her head going in my vagina 🤣 Is is coming or am I just kidding myself 🤦🏻♀️

Honestly you’ve described exactly what I feel for the last few days and I’m 36+4 with baby Nr 3 as well but she’s not even engaged yet apparently . I don’t think the labour is coming yet, I keep telling myself it’s probably because I’m crazy tired with my 2 and almost 4 year old 😣

I’m just ahead of you at 37+3 and I could’ve pretty much written this myself 🤣😭 I’m awake most of the night now and have been for the last week, although I sometimes manage to have a nap in the daytime which helps a little! The vaginal pressure is INTENSE and her movements are feeling so strong now 🤣 I’ve also been going to the toilet loads sometimes really loose, sometimes not so much. Had 4 trips yesterday alone… TMI 🤣🤣
Still absolutely no sign of labour for me though, just Braxton Hicks and period-type cramp pains. I keep thinking surely this must mean something, but apparently not! 😂 Fingers crossed our babies decide to make an appearance soon! Induction booked for the 9th but hoping she makes an appearance from the 4th onwards would be beautiful 🤞🏼💕xx

Exact same symptoms as me but I’m 35+6 with my second and she wasn’t even engaged at the last check 😭 so ready to not be pregnant x

I don’t know about you but for me, this is definitely the last pregnancy so even though it hurts in places I didn’t know existed, I want this to last because after that, I will never feel this again 🥹
Second baby, 38+1 and managed to get 2x 1ml syringes. It did take about half an hour though 😂
Starting later than I did in my first pregnancy, partially because I don’t want to go into labour yet but also because I just haven’t found the time!

Posting as incognito because I feel ashamed of how I’m feeling. I’m 34+1, I realise I have a while to go but just in floods of tears almost every day because I feel so sore and heavy and like I can’t do anything. I feel like my legs and hips are going to pop out their sockets when I walk and like I’ve been weight training every single day. I don’t know what to do anymore I’ve just sat and cried all evening because I don’t want to do it any longer. Is there anything to help with pain and discomfort or is there any medical reason I’m like this. I was having bad period type cramps all day yesterday but haven’t had anything today other than feeling I can’t even stand up without feeling like my whole body hurts. Is there anything doctors/ consultants/ midwives can do.

How accurate have peoples growth scans been? I had a scan at 40+1 and they said the baby is measuring 8.15lb! At 36 weeks she was measuring 6.2lb, so this seems like a massive jump! From the 43rd percentile to 95th! Those who were told they were having big babies, were they born big? I'm only 4'11ft, husband is 6ft and all his family were big babies😭😂

Is it just me or does it feel like the hospital push the idea of inductions on everyone. I can't tell you the amount of people that have had it or are planning to have one.
What is the reason for this?
