PPROM at 35 weeks

So my due date was 28th September but it turns out my body had other ideas 🙈 on Thursday at 35 weeks 3 days my waters broke spontaneously 🙈 currently in hospital being monitored for the last couple of days but no sign of labour as of yet 🤞🏼 so it looks like I’ll be going home and will be closely monitored and the plan is to induce me at 37 weeks due to high risk factors of infection… please wish us some luck 🥰🤞🏼 we are very nervous!

Aw this happened to me with my little girl! My waters went at 34 and 5 and she was born at 35 and 3, good luck! If anything reassurance wise my girl didn’t need nicu time and was just monitored closely with me and her staying in hospital. I’m sure you and your boy will do amazing!, good luck ❤️

First go at collecting colostrum

Second baby, 38+1 and managed to get 2x 1ml syringes. It did take about half an hour though 😂

Starting later than I did in my first pregnancy, partially because I don’t want to go into labour yet but also because I just haven’t found the time!

Advice

Posting as incognito because I feel ashamed of how I’m feeling. I’m 34+1, I realise I have a while to go but just in floods of tears almost every day because I feel so sore and heavy and like I can’t do anything. I feel like my legs and hips are going to pop out their sockets when I walk and like I’ve been weight training every single day. I don’t know what to do anymore I’ve just sat and cried all evening because I don’t want to do it any longer. Is there anything to help with pain and discomfort or is there any medical reason I’m like this. I was having bad period type cramps all day yesterday but haven’t had anything today other than feeling I can’t even stand up without feeling like my whole body hurts. Is there anything doctors/ consultants/ midwives can do.

Has anyone had signs ramp up over a few days and actually gone into labour or just false hope?

I’m 37+1 today with my third and my second I went into spontaneous labour at 36+6 so I really thought she’d be here by now 😩 Anyways over the last week I’ve been dry heaving, actually been sick once, I’ve had diarrhoea and loose stools, such a weak bladder, severe insomnia and crazy pressure down below. Every time she moves I can literally feel the pain of her head going in my vagina 🤣 Is is coming or am I just kidding myself 🤦🏻‍♀️

Inductions

Is it just me or does it feel like the hospital push the idea of inductions on everyone. I can't tell you the amount of people that have had it or are planning to have one.

What is the reason for this?
