Whoever chose yes could you please tell me how are you having UC With 3.400£ combined salary?

He’s not working too. Mine is about to start paying out so I don’t know

It totally depends on your circumstances and if the amount you're eligible for is more than the deduction for your wages you'll receive the difference. You could be very 'straight forward' - no housing costs, single person, no kids etc so you'll only be eligible for a small amount and even a small amount of wages will probably disqualify you. On the other hand you could have very high housing costs, multiple children, people in the household with disabilities, be a carer, have childcare costs - then you'll be eligible for a lot, so even a large amount of wages might still mean you're entitled to something
