In my first pregnancy I had one at 39+6 and another at 40+1 so two days apart. I did go into labour but I do regret it because it triggered contractions when my body wasn’t ready and my son wasn’t in the right position. I dilated quite quickly but my second stage of labour (pushing) was really really long and exhausting because he wasn’t engaged properly. I ended up with an epidural because my contractions were back to back with no break, then had an episiotomy and forceps delivery in theatre.
The sweeps themselves were uncomfortable but not necessarily painful I would say.

I had one 39 weeks and didn’t work repeated 3 days later and I went into labour 39+3
I have my planned c section this week due to baby being 95th percentile and I don’t want to be induced im absolutely petrified I have never had surgery in my life, I’m also scared of the recovery but at the same time I cannot imagine being induced .
I have said if baby comes naturally before then I will try but yeah I also told family when it is and the judgemental comments have come rolling in which is making me doubt everything.
Any advice tips and tricks?

As apart of your birth plan are you allowed to chose/opt for a C section?

First time mums who are choosing to have a C-Section, what’s making you opt for it over vaginal birth? 🤔

So my water broke 12 hours ago and since then I’ve barely had any contractions (maybe like 6 in total and they were not strong). Just came home from triage after checking on baby and taking different tests to eliminate any infection risk. What can I do to trigger labour to start on its own? I have to go back to hospital to get induces tomorrow 8am if it hasn’t started naturally and would like to avoid an induction. Pls help!! Any positive stories if you’ve been in the same situation is also appreciated as I’m a bit nervous ❤️
