My mom died unexpectedly August 16th, a day before my would be wedding.
Grieving when you have kids, feels impossible. My 2 year old doesn't get it, but my 6 year old hates to see me cry. I try to not when he's around, but my entire house reminds me of my mom and on bad days I can't help it. I feel guilty for grieving because it's upsetting him. I also feel hurt because neither kid is really asking about her. I know that's completely irrational and unfair, but this entire situation seems unfair.
Anyways, just needed to rant a bit. Maybe someone else can relate. Thanks for reading š¤

I donāt have much to say but your feelings are valid. So much love and solidarity to you. Hoping that you are able to grieve and come out of it as a woman who can remember her mom with a smile on her face. Iām sure your mom is watching over you.

Feel free to message me if you want to talk. Iād be happy to listen and be a shoulder to cry on. I was (and still am) in the same boat. My mom died the same month we started TTC. I got pregnant pretty quickly after she died and then we lost the baby. And next month will mark 20 years since my dadās passing. Wow I still canāt even believe itās been that long. I know grief all too well unfortunately and itās SO, SO hard. Especially when itās fresh and even worse once you become a mom yourself. Iām here for you. Big hugs. š©·
Question for the mums š©·
Are you/have you vaccinating/vaccinated your baby? š
If yes, what made you decide to vaccinate? Are you glad you did?
And if not, Iād love to hear your reasons why.
No judgement either way⦠just interested in hearing different parentsā thoughts and experiences. š¤

Hey mums. I am struggling bad with my little girl at the moment. she is going through a stage where she will scream at anyone who looks at her. Sheās also biting people and biting herself when she gets angry or gets told no. Definitely the terrible twos come early.

The first 2 nights with baby Iāve had to set alarms to feed her as she would happily just sleep all the way through without waking. Tonight sheās doing the oppositeš¤£
Iāll feed her, put her in her next to me, within 2 mins sheās crying and showing hunger ques. So I feed her againā¦the process continues. Sheās been in and out of this next to me about 8 times now. I donāt think itās got anything to do with hunger I think itās just comfort because she will happily stay sleeping on me. (Bed sharing isnāt really an option as we only have a small double bed + share with our dog, itās already too cramped so I really do want her to be able to sleep in her own safe space). Iāve got her in a love to dream swaddle too to try to settle her but doesnāt seem to be helping. Anything else I can try ??
