My girl is 5 weeks old. She sleeps find but then we have some nights where she won’t go to sleep until 1-2am. We don’t really have a schedule or any kind of bedtime routine aside from feeding around 8, again at 10 and then she’s usually asleep by 10:45-11. A lot of the time she falls asleep on the boob or she sleeps for 10-20 minutes then is rooting like she’s hungry.
Should I be starting a bedtime routine?? I did one with my first but he was also a terrible sleeper. I’m trying to avoid her sleeping with me, but I’m also exhausted. Any suggestions would be so helpful

My 5 week old does this too
I stopped feeding when rooting if he just ate and he hasn’t slept in hours because an overtired baby can exhibit the same behaviors as a hungry baby
Instead I first try to have him cuddle with me and if he fusses I give him a binky most of the time he calms down but doesn’t always go right to sleep.
Question for the mums 🩷
Are you/have you vaccinating/vaccinated your baby? 💉
If yes, what made you decide to vaccinate? Are you glad you did?
And if not, I’d love to hear your reasons why.
No judgement either way… just interested in hearing different parents’ thoughts and experiences. 🤍

Hey mums. I am struggling bad with my little girl at the moment. she is going through a stage where she will scream at anyone who looks at her. She’s also biting people and biting herself when she gets angry or gets told no. Definitely the terrible twos come early.

My 2.5 year old is still drinking the bottle( normal milk) which I know he shouldn’t but it’s only once at night to sleep as I have a 4 month old and it’s difficult to put them both down, how do I stop the bottle?

The first 2 nights with baby I’ve had to set alarms to feed her as she would happily just sleep all the way through without waking. Tonight she’s doing the opposite🤣
I’ll feed her, put her in her next to me, within 2 mins she’s crying and showing hunger ques. So I feed her again…the process continues. She’s been in and out of this next to me about 8 times now. I don’t think it’s got anything to do with hunger I think it’s just comfort because she will happily stay sleeping on me. (Bed sharing isn’t really an option as we only have a small double bed + share with our dog, it’s already too cramped so I really do want her to be able to sleep in her own safe space). I’ve got her in a love to dream swaddle too to try to settle her but doesn’t seem to be helping. Anything else I can try ??
