20 week scan!

The so-called "20 week scan" is scheduled next Monday for me and I'm actually 19w 1d next Monday. Is it still fine or did they make a mistake while scheduling? Should I be concerned or not? And what to expect during the scan? Can I get to know the gender from the NHS itself without booking a private scan?

Hi, you can ask for the gender then I just had mine Friday. They do a lot of measuring the head legs etc. I had a jab for like whooping cough if you don’t want it you don’t have to have it as a personal choice but I just did as I’m due in January. Just give them a call to see if it’s okay for u to come in at the weeks you’ll be xx

they’ll book it as close to 20 weeks as they can anywhere usually between 19-21 so no concern, they will do all the measurements and checks on the baby to make sure baby is growing as they should and you can ask for them to confirm gender and they’ll tell you

Mine was also done at 19 weeks and they were able to get all the measurements they needed. I was also able to find out the gender (I think they can actually tell from around 16 weeks)

Pelvic girdle pain

Hi, I’m 24 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby, my pgp is actually insane. It was always bad with my other two but at around 28-30 weeks. It started around 20 weeks, did anyone else experience it this early? And any recommendations?

I’m so over being pregnant

I’m 36 weeks and CONSTANTLY constipated. I’ve literally tried everything and I can not poop to save my life. My stomach hurts soooo bad. I feel like I’m going to shit myself but then I try to use the bathroom and I’m so backed up that I can’t. Now my freaking butthole feels like it’s turned inside out and there’s so much pressure from my hemorrhoid. I’m so over this 😭 I just want to feel normal again man. I love my babies but I absolutely hate being pregnant. I’m so miserable 😭

Hematoma after c section

I’m 3 weeks pp and a hematoma has formed on top of my incision. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did the fluid/ blood reabsorb into the body or drain out? Did it eventually disappear? I’m worried that it will require draining but my doctors are adamant this isn’t an option.

March baby???

Okay so maybe tmi but my period has NEVER been regular in my life I am normally 42 day cycle. My last period was June 12 so based off that and getting pregnant during my ovulation window my obgyn guessed originally I’d be due March 19… we had our first ultrasound and the tech said I was actually due April 5… has anyone ever had a 3 week difference I am kinda over thinking this and worried about baby

Aches and pains

Honestly feel like I am geriatric some days! I have never been the most flexible, but with the baby I am sitting a lot less than I used to in my desk job. So I don't understand why I just ache all the time. My shoulders and back are the main culprits, but my quads and hip flexors are also bad. I know I probably need to start a stretching routine, it's just another thing to squeeze into nap times and never feels quite important enough!

Anyway wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Or is a physio or PT and can give me some advice or accountability!
