My son just turned 2 and has been showing signs that he’s ready to potty train. Any recommendations. I’ve seen the 3 day potty training is good but after the 3 days do I keep him in regular underwear and continue taking him every hour or so? Or do I buy pull ups sorry I’m at a lost with all this 😅 any advice welcomed I wanna start this week so what to do and what items I’ll need.

Stay away from pull ups (apart from sleep time) as they are diapers, just a little more convenient.

The only kiddo I’ve potty trained was my sister’s foster son and putting him in pull ups in my opinion slowed down his progress with potty training. We also speculate that he may have had a mental disability which was making it harder for him to understand he uses the potty and not his pants but we started with bringing him to the bathroom every 30 minutes roughly after a day or two of that we increased it and kept that going and within 2 weeks he was fully potty trained with minor accidents. But do whatever works best for you and your little one since what works for some won’t work for others
Am I being unreasonable?
My husband has been under diagnosis for chrons , IBS and a multitudes of other illnesses for years. He has not been diagnosed as he’s never hit the markers for anything and even his Chrons was taken to a board but it was agreed he doesn’t have it. Anyway we had a 2.5 year old and a 9 month old , he naps when our toddler naps so in the day I do everything , even when I’d just given birth he’d take our toddler out but would nap with her and I’d be left with all the washing etc. he was much better at helping with our first as he was off for 3 months after he was both but this time around I’ve come to realise how lazy he actually is , I have to nag and nag to get him to complete any task. I have to arrange what we do on the weekend , he’ll never make plans. I’m just so fed up and burnt out from it and some days fantasise about divorcing him as on the days I solo parent it is actually easier. I don’t agree with his parenting most of the time as he can be quite sharp and snappy to our toddler and guilt trips her when she’s just figuring out her emotions. I’ve suggested couples therapy but the only time slots is when he’s at work and won’t take the time off work for it , even my family members have commented how lazy he is. Sorry for the long post , am I being unreasonable for wanting more? I know life would be 100% harder if he split up and I couldn’t imagine having my kids half the time , it’d break my heart and I know he’s poorly but I’m mid 20’s and I can’t waste my life looking after him also when he gives nothing back , also doesn’t change any of his lifestyle habits. I’m so stuck on what to do , any advice would be great! We haven’t had sex 6 months as he just repulses me now , I can’t even pretend anymore. So confused.

I just feel so tired and overwhelmed. I have multiple small children and very little help. Today I feel so tired like I can’t even get up to make food for us to eat. Now I’m not saying we have food insecurity or my children go hungry -my children are very well taken care of. What I’m saying is this is the first time I realized that I am so overwhelmed that it’s going to take everything I have to get up and make food, something as simple as food. I feel guilt like a bad mother and I realize maybe for the first time how much difficulty I’m having. It’s just very hard I didn’t realize how difficult this would be. I’ve never been this tired and I need God to give me the strength.
Mothers do not get enough support and I wish that were different. Am I alone or does anyone understand?

So my daughter sees a speech therapist and she told me today about something that was said to one of the parents in the play group thats hosted by the therapy group. There was a little boy with cerebral palsy the very first day. The last 2 times I noticed he wasn't there. Well I found out that apparently someone told the mom the play group wasn't for special needs kids..... excuse the fuck out of me??? Wtf? Her speech therapist told me that it's not hard to accommodate for the little boy and that thats why he hasnt been there since. I am absolutely livid right now. I want to say something to the person hosting the play group but im afraid I might go off on her. So im thinking of having my husband say something. The last 2 play groups he could have easily participated in. My only issue is will me saying something possibly cause a problem for the mom? I asked my daughters speech therapist if it might be possible to give the mom my number that way we can get our kids together to play.
So the main question this pole is here for is... should i say something?
Another question but comment your answer please.. should I get the ada involved?
I know this seems stupid, I just dont want to cause any hardships for the mom.

Hello!!
I recently became a SAHM. I’m struggling with not making my own money. Yes my husband can give me money but I don’t even want to ask for it.
I recently started an online kids clothing boutique but not going well I think it’s bc where I live people aren’t interested in boutique type of clothing. Going to keep trying on this but just a little bummed it’s not gotten more sales
Suggestions advice to get through this??
