So I’m 3 weeks postpartum on Friday and my emotions are all over the place, I have cried everyday since leaving hospital and last night I was so angry with my husband I punched the chair in our bedroom and my hand is absolutely killing me. Today I am just not feeling it with anything I feel sad, I feel like I want to run away and never return. Anybody else feel like this

My baby is 4 weeks old, I felt like this in the first 2 weeks. If you need someone to talk to, feel free to text me 😊

Hi lovely! It’s totally normal as your hormones are all over the place now. There’s been a huge estrogen and progesterone drop. If it makes you feel any better I’m 1 week pp and feel the exact same way. My last pregnancy in my postpartum with my first baby I can now look back and say I suffered from ppd. I was so snappy with all of my loved ones and was analysing all of there every moves. Super suspicious of people particularly those close to me and It was draining! But I luckily realised that this is totally normal, a phase and a season. What’s helped me this time around is giving everyone a heads up that I’m suffering and to not take things personally and that it’s my hormones and all the change and not the true real me.
The real me is super chilled non problematic and sees the positive in everyone. PP me is quite the opposite. I’m looking into therapy this time around to have a place to vent. reach out to me if you like if you ever need a place to vent with zero judgement x

Oh the postpartum anger is the worst, after having my son last year I would loose it so many time, I threw a vase of flowers on the floor that smashed, my poor partner got called every name under the sun which I think he probably deserved🤣looking back I can laugh at it a bit because it’s not like me at all but at the time I was so overwhelmed and stressed it wasn’t very nice. Oh and I also pulled some curtains off the wall which in my defence they were ugly and from the previous owners of the house so it was only matter of time before they got taken down! Around 4/5 months pp I was crying so much and just wanted to leave everything and be by myself. If you need anyone to talk to please message me, I’ll probably make you feel a bit better with the stories of how many times I lost my shit❤️

I had this with my son pp is no joke, in the back of your red book should be some qr codes for talking therapy or wellbeing centres sometimes talking to others can help, hang in there momma you got this and take some you time
Since birth 2 weeks ago, I have felt such dislike toward my partner. He is VERY supportive in terms of looking after our 4 yr old, doing loads round the house, seeing to baby whenever, taking lots of night shifts. I couldnt fault him AT all.
However emotionally/mentally I feel he doesnt understand and he is snappy with me, and I am feeling resentment toward him for unknown reasons other than the emotional disconnection
I told him and he said "im using birth and 9 months of pregnancy as an excuse" which really upset me and Im crying, but he just see's me crying or upset as nothing and "just hormones" and I get no comfort, nothing.
I cant see how we can go back to getting on atm, any advice?

My boy is 10 weeks and exclusively breastfed aside from 1 bottle of ebm in the evening.
He used to take avent soothies, nanobebe or avent air but lately has been refusing all of them. He has just learned how to suck this thumb too which I'd rather he had a dummy then suck his thumb because I can take a dummy away, but he has his thumb forever.
The thumb sucking started after the dummy refusal.
I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and found any spesific dummy swapped out well for thumb.
We've tried lots so I will reply to comments with a 💚 if we've tried them.

My 4 week old baby is struggling to poo regularly. He can go a couple of days without doing anything. He passes wind, you can see he is trying poo and is in pain/uncomfortable. He is formula fed on Aptamil, has infacol with every feed and we’ve started to introduce one pre-made bottle a day as have been told this helps them to poo/flush them out.
Has anyone else experienced similar and have any suggestions?
Would changing brand of formula help?
