My little girl will wake up sometimes and just want a cuddle in bed. Just make sure there’s nothing that’s Gna overheat them or suffocate them🤍people will say it’s dangerous but I’ve been fine my baby’s 3 months and I’ve never had an issue x

I've Co slept with both my kids from birth, I've even had my 3 month and 2 year old in bed at the same time

I do now she's a little bigger. I just tuck the duvet under the pillows and put her lower down so there is nothing she can roll into etc. She sleeps most the night in her next to me but will fuss during the early morning so I sometimes put her on the bed. I used to do the same with my son.

Oh yes! Mainly after his 4/5am feed and it he's unsettled. Just easier to put him next to me and attempt to get more sleep.
I solo parent a lot so getting sleep is so important (especially having a toddler too!)
On a couple nights now I've had the toddler on one side and the baby on the other if both are up and unsettled in the night (using safe sleeping guidelines, my bed is always set up no matter what so it's as safe as possible, being prepared is key!)
With my first I was so anxious and would put him back to sleep every time in his next to me but this time I'm more confident and prepared and mostly am just trying to protect my sleep as a priority. So doing the easy option works for now.

Breastfeeding after 6 months

Breastfeeding mamas, for those who are still doing it beyond 6 months, how often are you feeding your baby?

In their own room

I have recently put my little boy in his own room as he outgrew the next to me. However he keeps rolling onto his front and sleeping on his belly. He has rolled front to back a couple times one day but hasn’t done it since that random day.

Should I be putting him back on his back if he’s happily asleep on his front?

Obviously I have him on the monitor and he does cry out if he’s stuck or needs us etc…

Eating soap

So my kid is almost 2 and constantly wants to eat soap. I was wondering if anyone could give me advice, or is/went through this themselves. He just finished a bubble bath and keeps drinking the water whenever he gets a bath, he also keeps wanting to play with soap all the time.

Sleeping training - a must?

Anybody sleep trained using the Ferber method? How long did it take you? Any alterations to the method? A completely different method? Or happily feeding/rocking to sleep?

The big sleep training. Wow. My little one is 7 months and I just tried the Ferber method tonight and failed on the second check in. Well, dad did the first check in and the screaming that ensued, I just did not have it in me to go in and leave her again. I think it was a big ask to go from breastfeeding to sleep, to “so I’m just going to put you down and walk out the room now”. Dad was really supportive of whatever I wanted to do, but we both see the long term gain from this in her sleeping independently, which I’ve seen she’s capable of especially when it’s nap time. I’ve decided I’ll stop feeding to sleep initially, and then I’ll decide on whether I want to try to sleep train or not. Amazing in the long run, but in the moment I just feel so bad.
