Pre Term Labour risk

It happened in my first pregnancy at 25 weeks and again at 28 weeks. I carried to full term and had an elective section at 39+6 (for unrelated reasons). Despite the contractions and the positive swab I never had any cervical change/dilatation.
This pregnancy it's happened at 25, 29 and 32 weeks. I'm 33 weeks now. Again contractions and positive swabs each time but no cervical change so I was discharged from the ward after a few days.
I have always been told that if the preterm labour swab is negative it is 98% accurate but if it's positive then it's only 30-40% accurate and that cervical change would be more important than the positive swab, ie regardless of the swab whether your cervix changes is the most important factor.
Have they sent you home now or are you still being monitored? If you're still there then you could ask if they will be doing a cervical scan
