When did you give your baby their 1st bath?

I think we did about 2 weeks with our little one! Majority of her cord came off very early but there was a little bit left that had a bit of a scab so we didn’t want to get it wet! She’s had a few short baths now with her brother, just with water and we get her out before we start washing him!

I did a prep for parenting class and they taught us from a few days old you can give them a top and tail cotton wool wash then you can give them a real bath once the cord has fallen off x

I’m still washing my daughter with warm water and cotton wool, she’s been so fussy lately i don’t want to traumatise her but with my son he was 3 weeks I think xx
