Glass or plastic?

baby bottles get lost all the time they're easy to replace. Glass gets busted or lost, despite the eco friendliness.

Plastic I’m clumsy and drop them at least once a week .. I’d go broke constantly buying new glass

Honestly with the chemical that comes off plastic when heated we decided to go glass. They are easy to clean and durable. They don't break if you drop it once unless you're using all your force

Glass, both because of the ecosystem and I want to reduce the amount of microplastics my kids consume. We used glass with all of my kids and will continue to do so. Once they get water bottles we move to metal. All of our Tupperware is glass as well. Plastic is the devil. Recent research shows microplatics in the plaque and blood of more than 80% of heart attack patients.

glass. get silicone sleeves if you’re concerned about breakage

We used glass Mason bottle they come w these baby blue super cute silicone sleeves - never broke one ever. They are so cute when I feed my baby in the food court at the mall I have random mums come up and ask me where I got them 😅 I think I told about 5 mums that they’re online only and they’re Mason bottle.
I’ve also done a whole rehaul of my kitchen. So my whole dinnerware and utensil set is matching, pots and pans are all stainless or carbon, and all my spices are in labelled jars. I love opening my dishwasher every morning there’s no plastic in there and it doesn’t look disarray

I gotta be honest I only had one glass bottle and the rest were plastic. But I found that after a while of using the plastic ones there would be a film on them. It was really hard to get off. Like I would boil my bottles and everything. My one glass bottle was a lot easier to clean. And it came with rubber pieces on the bottom and top so it wasn't so delicate. I was still careful with it but it did fall a few times.

We wouldn’t heat our food in plastic so why are we heating up a baby’s food in plastic?!

Glass. They drop and don’t break. We also bought rubber covers for them.

“BPA free” is just another way they fool us. There are so many by Products that come from plastic- not just bpa.

Glass bottles. Cloth diapers. Cloth wipes. I’ve made the switch to all that. When I talk to mums irl they’re shocked because their next comment is “you don’t look the type” I’m curious to know what that “type” looks like then 😅 (I think they assume I’m not crunchy/homestead-looking to use all that lol)

I had both and only got 1 glass bottle left. Hubby and I took turns breaking them all. 😅We traveled a lot and always ended up breaking them on trips.
