My baby has just turned three months and I want to start tracking her sleep during the day, does anyone use any apps that are free and they would recommend? I am not trying to sleep train her till next month but I know it will take a couple months to do so I am not worried, I just want to know she is getting the right amount of sleep now and when she is sleeping in case she has too much or too little, she slept last night from around eight ish till about eleven ISH if I remember and the half three ISH for a bottle then woke up at seven for another bottle, had a wiggle in the cot while I chilled out next to her, I have a cold and it's zap me or else I would interact with her, she got fussy around half seven I think and came for a cuddle and slept till ten ISH and then I had to go out on a important errand, which she napped in the car for about half an hour after crying all the way there which was overwhelming but I had to do it, then around two ISH we both slept till five ISH, as I said I am not well so she was in her cot and me in bed and then she asleep around half eight, I want to know this all correct for her age.
Also how does everyone elses three month old sleep position at the moment, I have a very wiggly baby so I won't use a blanket as she kicks it off and has started to grab, so she's in a sleep bag with arms because she can roll over, with great head control and now for the last few months has slept on her side even when I place her on her back then will slowly move around the cot, I always check her but seems alright, video so you see what she does

You can use huckleberry to track sleep for free you just don't get the insights. I'd say she sleeps perfectly for her age though and you'll only drive yourself mad tracking it all the time. Only two wakes a night at that age is really good.

You can use huckleberry even without paying so you can track her sleep / feeding : nappies .
Though I’d say her sleep is fine , just follow her lead still at this stage . Look for her cues . Around 3 months they go through different growth spurts again and some days she’ll sleep better than others .
You’re looking about 4-6 naps a day depending on how long naps are , and yet again unless you have to wake baby from a nap, don’t .
They should be sleep 9-13/14 hours at night .
Some babies have high/ lower sleep needs than others ( need more / need less)
As long as she’s feeding, good wet/ dirty nappies, I wouldn’t worry too much .
Same with “sleep” training , don’t worry so much. Whether it’s contact nap, falling asleep on the boob/ bottle , rocking, putting down and they self soothe themselves / use a dummy . Baby will get there eventually and things get easier .

Huckleberry but don’t use it religiously. At 3 months wake window is 1-2 hours . I wouldn’t sleep train at 4 months. Usually there’s a regression. Just go with the flow x

I used an app called baby tracker and still do with my little girl who’s 10 months. I used it primarily to log nappy’s and milk feeds as I breast feed so like to know how long and how often, never bothered with tracking sleep in the early days but as she got older and babies take less naps that’s when I started to log sleep. The app is as simple as start timer when baby starts sleeping and stop it when she wakes. Also never bothered sleep training or anything I just followed my baby’s lead and signs for being tired and she sleeps brilliantly. I think until they are 5 months they don’t really have any schedule baby’s just sleep and wake when they want, you’ll start to see a rhythm/ natural routine come in to play when they can really distinguish day and night sleeps which is 5 months onwards

This is really helpful, I just wanted to make sure I was doing her sleep right

I use Nara baby to track my little ones sleep and feeds, you get all the insights/trends and it’s free; I’ve found it really useful

sounds like you’re doing great and waking twice is amazing at that age. But don’t worry if it gets worse. If you try to be too routined you will only stress yourself out x

I use Huckleberry. I personally just use the free version, but I'm happy to give you a referral so you can get 30-days free of premium to try

Nara baby is really good, it’s simple and lets you track everything also napper is another one
I let my son (4) watch videos while he’s going to sleep.
He gets put to bed at 7 and is never awake past 8.

My baby just turned four months on the 20th. She hasn’t quite sat up by herself yet but every time she is in somebody’s lap or somebody’s holding her, she’s showing interest in wanting to stand up. When is a good time to get her one of those bouncing toys, I wasn’t sure if we should introduce it yet because she’s not sitting independently or not

Has anyone got any advice. My newborn is 11 days old and I've been really struggling with anxiety about making sure he is OK, feeding schedules, waking through the night and a few other things. I'm seeking help but wondered if anyone can share their experiences?

I always thought you had to wait 2 weeks but chat gpt is saying you can do it whenever & even says you can bath WITH the cord still, which I thought you had to wait for? She’s currently a week old, her cord fell off on her 3rd day. Not sure when we should do it🥹
