I went out to eat with my friends last night and I’ve got one friend that sends food back every time. I’m not exaggerating, she complains to wait staff and management every time. Sometimes we gotta talk to her in the car about ordering what she’s accustomed too and not sending things back. One of my other friends told her, you gotta stop this shit! 🤣

Rarely if ever. We tend to show our displeasure by just not going back.
When I do give feedback to the kitchen, I try to frame it as constructive criticism - as in I notice your potatoes are being underspiced, or cooked improperly, so the kitchen can do quality control. Often times they rush to just apologize and discount my cheque, but that isn't why I do it; the kitchen needs feedback and if the cook is underspicing something, they should know.

Hot take, but I can’t stand people like this lol

Rarely, only if it's cold or very incorrect. My grandmother used to send back nearly everything, her goal was to get something comped or free even though the food was enjoyable 😅

One of my cousins is like this. She wonders why we refuse to go out to eat with her. The last time we went out, we went to a pub for a Sunday roast and she told the chef the food was too bland and asked for a plate of garlic and chillies to season her own food… then said ‘it’s fine, I know him’. I was SO embarrassed every time she asks us to go out for food now I make excuses for why we can’t

Only if it’s incorrect. Which for me is typically when they leave bacon on something that I asked for them to leave off, since I don’t eat pork.

I wouldn’t go out with that friend anymore.

i do sometimes, only if they added something i do not like or if they undercook it

Only if it’s really really wrong

Only if it’s not cooked right (like a burger or steak) or it’s entirely wrong

Never. I had a friend who would ask to alter every single thing at a restaurant and then not like it and it made going out suck.

Normally, I rarely send food back or complain but right now I am dairy free for my daughter who is breastfeeding and has a dairy allergy. It feels like no matter how many times I say it, my order always contains some kind of dairy! It's crazy! Ranch on a salad or cheese on the burger or butter on the bun, etc. Even when I ask about certain components and confirm I can make it dairy free prior to ordering! 😵💫😭🙃

Hair in food absolutely that is going back!
If I've specifically requested something a certain way or not put on, then yeh I'll be that person, I'm paying and I should be able to enjoy my food.

I've only ever sent back food ONCE and that's because my chicken was RAW. Otherwise I'll pretty much eat anything someone brings out to me 😂

One time my order was completely wrong, I ordered one thing and something else was on my plate but I got so uncomfortable when I tried to mention it, so I just ate it. Since then I always point to the items on the menu when ordering.

Never. I eat it with a smile on my face and even tip. I then never go back.

I've sent food back once and it was because of raw chicken lol
I actually wouldn't go out with that friend anymore. Hang out other ways but I'd stop dining with her. Because honestly I would feel so bad that I'd be over-over-tipping the waitstaff to make up for her behavior.

Only once and it was a steak that full of grizzle that the steak knife wouldn’t cut it

I don’t like sending it back unless it’s really really bad and we eat out, a lot. I sent a steak back once. But I had the 3 mums at my table take a bite and see if I’m overreacting. I wasn’t. It was a burnt tough AF steak. I asked for rare 😵💫 they had to spit it out. They were screaming at me to take it back lmao.

I only ever have once - I was served chicken kabobs so burnt the entire outsides were black and truly inedible. If an order is incorrect - maybe they forgot I asked for no almonds, I just pick them off and don’t really make a fuss, unless it’s a chain restaurant and I follow up with customer service to get a coupon 😅

I’ll send back only if my food has meat in it which I do not eat and am very grossed out by lol. But as a veggie sometimes when I ask for a dish without the meat part they still add it in, which I get sometimes people forget but yeah i can’t tough that one out lmao

Only time I ever send food back is if the error means we literally can not eat it. Ie, my husband is extremely lactose intolerant so if his burrito had sour cream on it, yeah I’d have to ask for a remake. I’d still be nice to the staff about it though.
Also I’m vegan and only order vegan stuff, so this is a very rare occurrence anyway that sour cream or something of the sort would be in the food. But mistakes happen 🤷♀️
so over the course of several weeks my man has been acting really sketchy. like a little less than a week ago he went out with friends, and didn’t come home until 5 o’clock in the morning. he said he was at a car show ???
then i talked to my friend who ran into him at a bar one night. she told me that she saw him greeting a girl who walked in alone, and he took her purse and was holding it for her and they sat at the bar and were just talking and talking. once my man noticed my friend was there, he acknowledged her but then they scurried off and left.
also, he’s been going to this sushi restaurant and a dive bar to do his work “undistracted”
then i saw on his watch that he’s texting with some girl named destiny??
some of it is just sketchy. but would you consider his actions at the bar cheating? or that he’s texting some girl i’ve never heard of?

Could anyone suggest any other breakfasts I could offer my 15 month old please? We alternate between Weetabix or toast. Sometimes if there is more time I’ll make banana pancakes. He doesn’t have many teeth so limited to things that are easily chewable but I’m not sure if there are any other suitable cereals he could try

I’ve been offered work on some weekends to help with parties at a local play cafe (4-5 hours max)
My partner doesn’t think I should be doing it as I’m “missing out on family time” My partner works full time as a teacher and I’m a SAHM, he has been working extra during the holidays at clubs ect.
Surly I shouldn’t feel bad getting myself back out there again and then having “mum guilt” on missing family when I’ve been a SAHM for over two and a half years ….
Life 🫠😥

Guys I’m so annoyed with my husband. I’ve noticed I’ve since the baby turned eight months. It seems like he’s just been less helpful. He’s been playing this game on his phone and I normally don’t care but when the baby is crying because they obviously are hungry/ want to sleep etc. and he’s just playing the game and I’m stuck in work(working from home) it’s so annoying like why do I have to do every single thing while I’m trying to work?
I’m stopping to feed the baby changed diapers while you’re on your phone gaming
I’ve talked to him about the game already saying that I think you’re kind of being distracted and you’re not you know, helping as much when it comes to the child so he stepped up and started washing bottles helping out a little more now. But he had to give me so much talk about all he just wants to relax. And this is his only time to relax and he doesn’t interrupt me when I am playing games. I haven’t played a game in months because we have this child and I’m just tired all this time I went straight from a C-section to working full-time within a week and beyond tired.
He helps out with a lot of other things, but oh my gosh I just want help while I’m working. We literally only have two more days till baby goes to school. Why? Why can’t you get off this game?
