feel completely broken tonight, and honestly, this isn’t just about today. I feel like this all the time.
I’m exhausted, in pain with my period, the baby is teething and has been crying all day. After my husband came home, I still did the shopping, put everything away, cleaned, cooked, washed the dishes, took the rubbish out and fed the baby. I only asked him to hold the baby for a few minutes while I finished the dishes, and he didn't do it ("he was tired").
I ended up breaking down, crying and throwing the TV remotes on the floor out of pure frustration. I’ve been crying for hours and he hasn’t even asked me what’s wrong.
I don’t need him to do everything for me. I just want affection. A long hug, a kiss with no expectations, some sweet words, a “How are you?” or “Come here, you’ve had a hard day.”
Instead, I feel like he only comes close when he wants something from me. And because this happens all the time, I’m starting to feel so much resentment that I can barely stand being around him.
I keep wondering if I’m asking for too much, but honestly, I just want to feel loved and seen by my own partner. 💔 And in the other side the girls i thought were my best friends, they haven't texted me in 10 months. I used to call them "sister". But after pregnancy i saw the tru face of everyone.
I don't know myself anymore.

Sorry to hear about what you’re going through. I can understand your pain. First of all, well done for being an amazing mum. For your partner, have you ever communicated the needs you’ve explained? Sometimes a sit down and an open conversation can help.
For the friends, I’ve been there as well, and with my in laws as well. Having a baby or simply having a drastic change in life help you see who’s really there or not. You don’t need them if you’ve tried eveything to keep that relationship alive. Do you have any family? Any support around? Keep it up mama if you need to talk don’t hesitate to message me x

Hey. My husband outright tells me that men who hugs and kiss and says all these sweet things says it to all women. He says he won’t do or say these things. So I initiate and just hook my arm around his or hold his hand when we walk together. Believe it or not, he will hold on my hand tightly. Sometimes I kiss him on the cheek or head. I don’t know your husband but mine is not good with emotions or communication. I don’t think that he doesn’t love you. It’s just some people don’t believe in expressing love with words or hugs or touches. I grew up in a family that is like that. My mom said I kiss and say I love you to my kids too much. She said stop telling my kids to say I love you to her or I miss you.
