Anyone not sent their lo to nursery yet?
Mine won’t be going until next September when he’s 3 years and 5 months… feel like people are very judgy when u tell them you don’t send your toddler to nursery!

My toddler doesn't go yet but hoping to send her off soon. Just means we get more time to spend with eachother 💕 some people are super judgemental about but other or really most people I have spoken too have been really lovely about it. It just depends who you speak too. I found myself saying "it just wasn't right for us as a family" to the judgemental people made them less judgemental about it as they realised it's very much a situational thing and not a compulsory thing

Mine doesn’t but I don’t think I have anyone around to judge particularly. If they tried they’d probably loose their minds when they realised my 5 & 7 year olds don’t go to school either.
The big ones go to a forest school two days a week which is a bit like nursery and I think my toddler will start there next September, she could go from three but without funding it’s really expensive.
I have nowhere to go I'm financially dependent on him. I moved from a different country and got married to this a*****. He is so effing lazy. Comes from work and goes to the bed straight for the nap. Wakes up makes me serve his dinner, won't even make his plate. Eats. Plays some game and then goes back to bed. Snores loudly the whole night waking up the baby since we only live in a one bedroom apartment. When I tell him he disturbs the baby, he says that he snores because he is tired and can't control it. On the weekends. He comes home between his break for lunch. On the weekends he only plays games since it's his rest day and I have to serve him fresh lunch and dinner. Now he is saying that we should plan the next baby. I so fucking tired. I can't even work because I have to take care of the baby.

My baby is a week away from 6 months and is only showing the sign of bringing toys to his mouth as being food ready. when we’re eating he has no interest at all, and i’ve tried a little spoon of a few purees and he just pushes them out of his mouth. I feel like i’m going crazy as so many relatives are telling me he’s ready, and he’s up through the night every 2 hours for a 7oz bottle but he’s just not ready yet? Anyone else in a similar boat?

I swear I’m genuinely at the point of crying 😭 I’m doing everything I can as a low-income single mom and every time I feel like I’m finally getting my shit together, something else happens.
I finally leave my ex, he chooses his family over me and my son, three months ago he takes back the stroller and car seat because “he bought them.” Meanwhile he hasn’t contributed anything else. His mom literally called CPS 16 hours after I gave birth, they dealt with me for two months and then basically told me I was doing amazing, so I’m just like… cool well the stroller I just bought the straps broke. Walmart. Doesn’t want to refund me or let me buy a new one. Awesome.
Then this morning I get told my maternity benefits, child benefits AND income support are all being put on hold for three months unless I somehow produce 47,000 pieces of paperwork. I’m already scared to buy groceries because I don’t even know what money I actually have.
Maybe I’m just I’m cursed because today I sliced my finger, sprained my ankle, slammed my hand in the freezer, hit my head on a cupboard, stubbed my toe AND face-planted. Like??? 😭 I’m not even a super spiritual person but I’m starting to think I need an exorcism.
So I’m like wtf okaylet’s go to the library and get out of the house. We get there and I have to wait for THREE different groups of people to use the elevator with my baby and stroller because apparently walking 20 feet is impossible (they were all teenagers, laughing around goofing with their friends like the douchebag wannabe hoodlum type but you can tell not from the hood but wannabe I don’t know why kids are weird lol then it was too older ladies who were like you can wait for the next one the elevator fits five people and a stroller like it’s a big elevator. I was like oh goddamn, whatever )Then my bus/train tickets almost don’t work and my card isn’t working online.
This isn’t even half of what’s been happening just the tip of the iceberg
At this point I don’t need a miracle. I just need ONE NORMAL freaking week how about you 😭😂

I’m a first time mum and I’m meant to be going away for a couple of nights in October that’s 4 hrs away and my baby who will be 5 months then is planned to go stay at her Granny’s (MIL) , this will be her first time away from me and her dad and I’m really beginning to get bad anxiety from it all.
MIL has only seen her twice , once when she was born and the second when we drove through for a hour, we live over an hour away from them so hence the not constantly seeing eachother and I’m not going to constantly pack up and travel over there all the time.
I’m really really nervous as the time is approaching, we had booked this pre pregnancy and i genuinely thought I’d be okay but I’m really starting to panic. I don’t want to say anything to them incase they take it the wrong way like they think I don’t trust th or that they aren’t capable as she has had two boys. I feel so nervous im considering not going and just staying at home whilst my partner takes a friend and goes, but another part of me believes I should go as my life shouldn’t just stop because I’ve had a child and I deserve to have fun too but I also just don’t know anymore, I love my girl but I also want a break but I also don’t want her to go somewhere else. My mum died years ago and my dad’s too old to do it himself. We have no friends nearby who would help out either so this is really our only option.
Any advice on how to cope with this and if anyone has been in the same boat and just bitten the bullet and gone for it? xx

So I'm about 2 months after birth. I have a 3 year old and my recent baby. I have my toddlers toys in baskets around the home and I usually tidy up twice a day once midday then end of day. My toddler tips out the toy basket and it keeps triggering my husband as he can't stand the mess. I have explained that it's normal for toddlers to do this. He wants to throw out all the toys and leave her with a few. I explained that I've spent money on these toys and I'd rather she had them. Any advice?
