I love my little one and am in awe of all the things they are doing. I’m feeling excited about returning to work later in the year (going to sleep with nursery rhymes stuck in my head is not my usual cup of tea and begging for intellectual conversations) but also feeling very very guilty that baby will be in daycare so quickly. Partner and I both enjoy work and earning individually to keep the household running smoothly so it’s unlikely that either of us will take an extended break easily.
Anyone else have similar feelings or is it just me, myself and I?

I am the same, I miss working.
I dont return till January but have my KIT days booked in for end of November and then through December. I would probably return to work sooner if his 9 month funding kick in quicker.
I feel guilty but at the same time I know by going back to work he will have more things to do and we can have more trips and make bigger memories as a family.

Not me personally, but my mum went back with me at 6 months. She always says it was so great for her mental health/adult conversations/using different areas of the brain than when she was with me. She said it made her probably more present with me too on her days off! Don’t feel guilty! Easier said than done though I know!
When I spoke with the consultant, she put it on my consent form to have the hormone coil during my C-section. However, a lot of the things she said are making me change my mind (she said I could cross it out if I no longer want it). Just wondering if anyone got it before? Just not sure if it's for me, as I never been on birth control in my life

I’m back to work today!! And baby is going to nursery for her first day 😓 she’s had her settle sessions and now she has a cold and diarrhoea so they said I may have to come get her if the diarrhoea continues. I’m just so upset leaving her 8:30-5:30, and I’m not home until 6:20pm so dad is picking her up. I just feel really horrible about it all even though I’m only part time, also still breastfeeding and trying to switch to combi 😭

anyone up for being online besties?
I just started school again and it’s all online.
So my day is pretty much filled with my kids, housework, and now school work. I’m a stay at home mom as well… so the only adult I really get to talk to is my husband 😅
I’m not on this app much. so I’d like to chat via Instagram or Discord 💕

Hey mamas! I’m due my 6 weeks postnatal this Thursday. I was just looking to see what contraception to consider. After my first son I tried the 2 months injection and that made me put on weight so much and never had my period whilst I was on it, with the pills, they also made me gain so much weight. I want to consider the copper coil, any mamas to share their experience? Just so I can weigh my options. TIA
