I had it - is there anything in particular you would like to know?

I had it too, you should be invited to a diabetes clinic who will talk you through everything. A lot of it for me was trial & error to see what wouldn’t cause a spike. Going for a walk after a meal really helps control blood sugar & I found tiktok great for lots of recipe and snack recommendations. Good luck, it’s a rubbish thing to get during pregnancy but it actually did me the world of good long term x

Had it with my baby. Eventually needed insulin, at which point they told me he had to come out at week 38 so I had an elective c-section. Happy to discuss my journey in more depth if you want to.

I had a natural labour, I was induced at 39 weeks but that was because she was only 1 percentile. I managed it myself but had to go on Metformin towards the end.

I have also just been diagnosed..well a week or so ago. It's been a real eye opener for me, I've actually been quite upset and stressed about it

I've been diabetic before my kids. Monitored round the clock. It needs to be under 7.9.
Max time is 38 weeks. Had both my girls earlier than that. As long as you eat on time and properly, you'll be okay.

Diagnosed around 28 weeks, now 32 weeks. My reading was 8.1 at the test, but all my readings have been within normal range, when testing at home.
Baby is on the smaller side so that is being monitored currently. I felt so overwhelmed in the first 2 weeks but starting to feel better now I know what causes a slightly higher reading that other meals. Do testing now with certain foods so you can know what your body can deal with. Don’t be disheartened though as readings can vary day to day even if you’ve had the same meals

I had it and was insulin 3x daily. I had an elective section at 39 weeks x

I’ve had it with all 4 of my pregnancies. I was medicated in my previous pregnancies and had to be induced around 38-39 weeks however this time I’m still diet controlled and have been told I can go until 40 weeks then be offered an induction
20 weeks today! :) I feel like I had a bigger bump with my first at this point. I'll have to go back and check the pictures lol. (My husband in the background 😆) How's everyone feeling??

I’m 37 weeks on Friday and I started getting lower back pain two hours ago, and some period pain. I also feel like I have to empty myself out for some reason. I’ve taken some pain relief so we will see if that helps but I’m not sure if I’m in early labour or if I’m overreacting and thinking 2+2=5, anyone feel this way recently?
