2 months into mum life and I’m slowly trying to remember I’m a person too 😂
Between feeds, bottles, naps and somehow doing the same things on repeat all day, I’ve started trying to make a little time for things that are just mine again. I’m slowly getting back into a little beauty/wellness project and working on my online shop whenever I get a chance.
Any other mums trying to work on something of their own while on maternity leave? How are you finding the time without completely burning yourself out? 😅

Don't rush it, you are working on being a mum and nurturing your baby

I barely find time to shower on the daily 😂

Barely! Hardly ever wear make up or do anything nice as spent all my time on my baby 😂😂

It gets better once they get older. Just remember this is temporary.

Self, you say? Well that sounds familiar, I think I used to know her.

Aw take it easy! 2 months is still really fresh and it is hard to find time for yourself still. I’m 4 months pp and I’m barely starting to feel like my own person again 😵💫 it does get better though! You will find yourself again <3

I try to do it between naps. My daughters 2 months old and still sleeps 2-3 hours between feeds so with those hours I have time to do whatever I need to do for myself and around the house

As everyone says, it comes along later. It's so full on until post about 4 months. My baby is 11 months and I can promise you it gets so much easier to take a little time for yourself here and there.

Oh I know this feeling SO well! 💛 I’ve got 11 children and started my own Avon business from scratch too — honestly it’s like squeezing water out of a stone some days 😂
My best tip: keep it tiny and flexible! 5–10 minutes here and there — while someone’s napping, while dinner cooks, even just scrolling or planning in the quiet bits. Don’t wait for “perfect time” — it won’t come! And be kind to yourself: some days you get loads done, some days you do nothing at all — and BOTH are okay! 💛
You’re already doing amazing just thinking about “you time” — that’s half the battle! And your little side project? It WILL grow, slowly but surely — just like our families do 💪✨
I’m absolutely loving it! More smiles babbling and even giggling! Starting to get a little personality Honeslty it’s the best!☺️
Here’s a pick of my little one who I adore!😍

I’m 37 weeks on Friday and I started getting lower back pain two hours ago, and some period pain. I also feel like I have to empty myself out for some reason. I’ve taken some pain relief so we will see if that helps but I’m not sure if I’m in early labour or if I’m overreacting and thinking 2+2=5, anyone feel this way recently?
