I double up on pads at night and use the heavy flow option but I always end up leaking a bit and on to the bed . I do have a heavy flow and this is always on the second day it happens . Would this be concerning enough to get checked out or is it just a part of womanhood ? I have friends who say it’s normal and my flow is just heavy

Fibroids possible. I leak, just rediculely heavy periods. Recently I found pads with like a edge gusset. They help!

i use tampons not pads but i always sleep with period underwear to avoid leaking onto my sheets!

Every single period. On the second night usually. I use a night pad and an incontinence pad on top 🤣 I also put on some cycling shorts and sleep with those on sometimes which helps.
I personally don’t think it’s a reason to go to GP as very normal for me.

Yes but I also have adenomyosis
Been diagnosed with gestational diabetes with a reading of 8.2. Anyone had this or currently have it?!

2 months into mum life and I’m slowly trying to remember I’m a person too 😂
Between feeds, bottles, naps and somehow doing the same things on repeat all day, I’ve started trying to make a little time for things that are just mine again. I’m slowly getting back into a little beauty/wellness project and working on my online shop whenever I get a chance.
Any other mums trying to work on something of their own while on maternity leave? How are you finding the time without completely burning yourself out? 😅

Hi 👋. I'm just about to turn 18wks, haven't heard from my midwife yet. Don"t even know who my midwife is. Had my booking appointment and 12wk scan, having 20wk scan soon. Is it normal not to hear from the midwife? It's my first baby. Should I have had an appointment by now?

Has anyone been induced using the oral Misoprostol method? How was it? Did it go fast?

Currently 15+4 and having a rough time. Feel like all I ever do is cry or feel exhausted! I wake up tired everyday and I hate it! Feel like such an invalid! I’m working full time & live with an autoimmune disease so everyone tells me to be easier on myself but I feel like I’m failing at pregnancy- anyone else just having a hard time in 2nd trimester? X
