What are the odds my elective will happen tomorrow? (I know it's hard to say)

I'd go in even earlier to try to be the first checked in...

It won’t be selected on a first come first serve basis sadly- this is 6 electives they haven’t even factored in the emergency C-sections into this…
I’d say it really does depend on how they compile their list and how many emergency patients are seen than day too.

im surprised they even scheduled seven electives for one day, that feels pretty shitty, there's no way they fit all seven in which surely they know. i would think that's ambitious even without emergencies which there will be.

my understanding is they get ranked on need which is assessed within an hour or two of intake, so if you have any complications you're higher on the list, fewer or none then lower. you'll usually know within a few hours where you are in the queue and if you're later on you can often eat and drink until a later cutoff point.

i think sadly the odds you go tomorrow are low unless you have complications. sorry to say that and hopefully i am wrong! worst case scenario you'll be high on the list on the other side of the weekend and you'll meet your little one soon
