Triage reduced movements

I went into triage for reduced movement and after feeling reassured on ctg. A random dr comes in and tells me I should deliver today as at term.

Like wtf - midwife said it’s protocol for them to say that

I’m so annoyed

I have C-section booked for Tuesday so part of me just wants to go with that now

Eek this is what terrifies me about going into triage with reduced movement even though I know it’s absolutely best to. You are well within your rights to decline any induction so don’t feel like you have to say yes if you don’t want to. How many weeks are you now? xx

I had the same happen to me, i refused and said if everything is ok then i will wait for baby to come when they are ready. I wouldnt let them pressure me into having the baby to suit them x

So im 37+2 and noticed reduced movements for a couple of days baby girl seems to be off her routine as she was always very active in the morning and evening but even now when i drink lots of ice water and lay down on my left side for like 20/30 mins i feel nothing and when it do it is random… i noticed a lot of patterns so a beat that goes on for 5/10 minutes i think she may have hiccups but that seems to be the only regular movement, scared to go to triage as i am 37 weeks so early full term but also wanna know if shes okay x

What are the odds my elective will happen tomorrow? (I know it's hard to say)

The hospital called me and told me to come in at 7am instead of 7:30am, however they also said I would be coming in with 6 other women and the list won't be made until we are all admitted (understandable). The theatre is open from 8 or 8:30am until 7:30pm and they don't do electives on the weekend. What are estimated odds I will actually get to meet my little one tomorrow? Just worried as I am not allowed even water from 7am on

Back to work after mat leave

Hi all, I started back on work Tuesday after a year off, my lg is 10 and half months old I also have a 5 year old who’s in y1.
I only work 3 days a week Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. I honestly feel so run down already and I’ve only done my second day I honestly don’t know how I’m going to do this for the foreseeable it’s just constant. I have so much to do yet I’m sat here eating cake and a super noodle for my tea because I don’t have the energy or time to cook my self anything.
I’m a hairdresser and I just feel mentally and physically drained already. Does it get easier

Anyone else’s November due baby gonna be an October baby instead?

I’m being induced or having a c section at 37 weeks (29th October) due to a few medical reasons

Anybody else?

Is it likely midwife is wrong about baby’s position?

I’m 38 weeks and at my appt she said baby’s head down but facing my side. I’m convinced he’s not head down as I can feel so much at the sides of my bump
