Can I just not

Everything is always the baby first think of the baby. But what about me. Like honestly I’m so tired. it’s my second time getting fucked over and left with a baby. This time though I have to share my son on weekends because his father want to be “in the picture”. I honestly just want to cut him off and move somewhere so I don’t have to. :/ feeling angry and sad

Co parenting can be hard to navigate. But its more people to love your baby. I struggled with co parenting we even had to use a third person for drop off and pick ups at first but if the father is no danger to your child what is the reason you dont want to?

my comment is if the child’s father is a good guy and is active as he seems having him on weekends etc but obviously my take is different if he’s an asshole and this post is just misleading. i know it’s not an ideal situation at all! no one wants to be left a single parent buttt you should be happy your son has a father who does want to make an effort and be in the picture. not everyone has that and i’m sure many people, like myself, wish the BD was a much nicer person and that civilly co parenting was an option. it’s not fair for you to say you want to cut him off and move somewhere so you don’t have to do that. just because he’s a father doesn’t mean he doesn’t have the same rights as you do to see him and be in his life. this is a pretty insensitive comment to make, i’m sure you’d feel awful if you knew he was wanting to completely cut you off and move away so you couldn’t see your son x

Tax free child care uk

Hi ladies
I’m just wondering if anyone could talk me through how the payments work for the tax free child care for nursery?
We are eligible for 30 free hours which we claim and the nursery have sorted for us.
I have only just realised today when updating my account that I am also eligible for tax free child care which I believe is where the government pays 20% of the nursery bill?

My nursery bill per month is £137, I have selected and set up my nursery on the account, I’m just not really understanding how the money gets paid in and how the gov know how much to pay for their bit?

I have taken a screen shot of the screen that came up for when I was trying to have a nosy round and figure out how to pay, I haven’t actually got my next bill just yet, and last month I just paid the full £137 myself straight from my bank account as I didn’t realise I was eligible for the tax free one. No biggy really about the first bill as he has only just started nursery so that was his first bill, I would just like to know how to pay it with the government bit in preparation for the next bill.
Thank you

Doing it alone

So I’m currently at the hospital because I’m in labor and about to deliver my baby within the next hour and a half probably and none one’s here.
Well my mom’s on the way to me now but it’ll take a minute for her to come. As for my baby’s dad, nowhere in sight. I told him I was in the hospital and he said he wanted to be there when his son is born but where is he? Who knows.
Am I upset? Definitely. Am I surprised? No not really. I’m only irritated because I know he’s going to blame me for something like he always does and it’s going to be horrible.
But that’s not important, what’s important is that I get to see my baby boy soon with or without him. Sad to say but I can’t control how he reacts so I’m just gonna focus on me and baby.

My 2 year old Lo is still not settled after taking him to nursery from monday till today(thursday) for an hour . What can we do to help please. I am soo desperate as this didnt happen to my first . The manager was saying he wants to be picked up and i told her maybe it because he is still not settled with the new faces so he needs more time towards that .

Partner seems so uninterested!!

Baby could come in 3 weeks and my partner hasn’t help with anything at all! I’ve even given him the space and said we need to discuss these things, let me know when you’re free to chat and he still hasn’t bothered! He said he was going to talk to me yesterday but apparently I was too emotional so he didn’t bother! Which I think is a lie, he was just trying to find an excuse. He has been purposely coming home late from work all week and my little one would ask why daddy is late for dinner. I don’t know what to do anymore, I’m so mentally exhausted and feel so alone in this process! I’m hoping for a home birth, I don’t know how this would work if I feel so unsupported at the moment!
