Feeling lonely

It’s a long one I apologise but if you do read it and can’t give some support I would be really appreciative!
I’m feeling so sad and lonely and just feel like I can’t do anything right . I live with my fiancé and I’m 29 weeks tomorrow. We moved in to our house 2 months ago and I just feel like I’m doing it all myself. I’m always the one to do the cleaning and washing and doing the dishes, cleaning up and cooking and he goes to work comes home and goes on his ps. I don’t have a problem with doing these things as I am the one that currently is at home all the time due to having to come out of work due to it closing but even when I was working it was still only me doing everything.
I’m so grateful that I am able to be at home during this difficult time thanks to him , I don’t want to sound ungrateful.
I think tonight I’m just extremely emotional I tried making tea tonight ( I’m not great at cooking) I made chicken mash roast potatoes and veg for when he got home from work exept the chicken was over done so it was dry and I tried using the ninja to make my mash as we don’t currently have a masher and that turned to slop and I told him I made tea but if you don’t want it is fine we can just get a takeaway as it’s not great . He looked at it and said 10/10 for effort and then started poking and picking at it and then said I put him of it bc I was being so negative. Ouch I was just tryna cover my back from being embarrassed.
Anyways he didn’t eat it I offered to make him something else he asked for cheese on toast and then I said actually can you make it he said no u can do it perfectly and i then asked him to come downstairs for a hug as before he went upstairs he noticed I wasn’t 100% and his reply was have you made my toast .
It feel really Petty when I’m saying it but I just feel so hurt and I feel like I just need to let it out .
He’s currently sleeping whilst I’m feeling sorry for myself on the sofa .
Am I over reacting? Am I just being over emotional.

Oh girl this is rough:( I’m so sorry you’re going through this!! I think you are completely justified in the way you are feeling honestly I would feel the same if my husband was this way toward me. Let me know if you wanna message separately, I am also 29 weeks xx

Nope. Not overreacting at all. You are a mother now and your emotions are never irrational or petty, it’s your gut, your intuition. You are so kind and are trying your best to create a happy comfortable family environment.

He needs to do more because you deserve more. You’re growing a whole human being, something a man couldn’t even comprehend.

All of this drive you’re feeling now is the protective side of your mum brain wanting to nest.
Keep going, as soon that baby will be your entire world and that’s who you’re really doing all this for.

I hope he realises how blessed he is to have you.

🫂🫂🫂🫂 he could make his own toast. Use this time to rest and not stress yourself or baby out! Unless he's paying 100% of the bills he can pitch in at home. Once baby comes, you'll need a village and if you don't have one, you'll be overwhelmed. Doing our duties is important, but we aren't maids/ servants. We're partners.

Oh gosh this sounds horrible, I'm sorry but he sounds really uncaring/insensitive to your feelings! Has he always been like this? You need to sit down with him and let him know how you're feeling and why, then let him know what you need from him in the relationship. This needs to be ironed out now as it'll only get worse once baby's here otherwise

Who are the psychos out here giving their 7 year olds cell phones??

My daughter has told me a few times now since starting 2nd grade that some of her classmates have cell phones and now she wants one 🫩🫩🫩 obviously she’s not going to get one lmao, but the fact that this is already a thing and convo I’m having now is mind blowing to me, I thought I’d have a few more years

Is 3 like the hardest age for everyone or am I a bad mom?

I swear my oldest son was so sweet and obviously had a few outbursts but nothing too crazy but within the last 6 months I feel like he did a complete 180 and his whole personality has changed. He sasses off to me, and just pushes every boundary and I swear the boy tests me to see how much he can provoke me. I honestly feel like I’m doing something wrong. I feel like I’m constantly on him about everything and I don’t let him get away with much if he’s doing something wrong but it feels like nothing I do is working. I wanna raise a respectful, nice boy but he’s making it feel almost impossible right now.

Tax free child care uk

Hi ladies
I’m just wondering if anyone could talk me through how the payments work for the tax free child care for nursery?
We are eligible for 30 free hours which we claim and the nursery have sorted for us.
I have only just realised today when updating my account that I am also eligible for tax free child care which I believe is where the government pays 20% of the nursery bill?

My nursery bill per month is £137, I have selected and set up my nursery on the account, I’m just not really understanding how the money gets paid in and how the gov know how much to pay for their bit?

I have taken a screen shot of the screen that came up for when I was trying to have a nosy round and figure out how to pay, I haven’t actually got my next bill just yet, and last month I just paid the full £137 myself straight from my bank account as I didn’t realise I was eligible for the tax free one. No biggy really about the first bill as he has only just started nursery so that was his first bill, I would just like to know how to pay it with the government bit in preparation for the next bill.
Thank you

Doing it alone

So I’m currently at the hospital because I’m in labor and about to deliver my baby within the next hour and a half probably and none one’s here.
Well my mom’s on the way to me now but it’ll take a minute for her to come. As for my baby’s dad, nowhere in sight. I told him I was in the hospital and he said he wanted to be there when his son is born but where is he? Who knows.
Am I upset? Definitely. Am I surprised? No not really. I’m only irritated because I know he’s going to blame me for something like he always does and it’s going to be horrible.
But that’s not important, what’s important is that I get to see my baby boy soon with or without him. Sad to say but I can’t control how he reacts so I’m just gonna focus on me and baby.

Partner seems so uninterested!!

Baby could come in 3 weeks and my partner hasn’t help with anything at all! I’ve even given him the space and said we need to discuss these things, let me know when you’re free to chat and he still hasn’t bothered! He said he was going to talk to me yesterday but apparently I was too emotional so he didn’t bother! Which I think is a lie, he was just trying to find an excuse. He has been purposely coming home late from work all week and my little one would ask why daddy is late for dinner. I don’t know what to do anymore, I’m so mentally exhausted and feel so alone in this process! I’m hoping for a home birth, I don’t know how this would work if I feel so unsupported at the moment!
