Daycare 😭

How do you handle putting your baby in daycare knowing that they are spending more time with your child during the day than you are?

I’m starting a new job soon and my hours will be full time which means she will be full time daycare which means she will be up for about 4 hrs or so when we get home before she goes to sleep for the night 😩

My daughter just turned 1 on September 3rd and has been with me all day every day since conception. Help me!!!

I was excited to get back into the work force but now I’m getting n nervous as it gets closer to reality.

I can’t explain it but you just kind of get used to it. The first few days are hard, she’ll cry, you’ll cry and then you just settle into your new routine.

The thought of returning to work petrified me but after those first rough few days she loves it, the tears have ended and she goes in willingly. I just make sure the time before/after work are spent fully with her x

Doing it alone

So I’m currently at the hospital because I’m in labor and about to deliver my baby within the next hour and a half probably and none one’s here.
Well my mom’s on the way to me now but it’ll take a minute for her to come. As for my baby’s dad, nowhere in sight. I told him I was in the hospital and he said he wanted to be there when his son is born but where is he? Who knows.
Am I upset? Definitely. Am I surprised? No not really. I’m only irritated because I know he’s going to blame me for something like he always does and it’s going to be horrible.
But that’s not important, what’s important is that I get to see my baby boy soon with or without him. Sad to say but I can’t control how he reacts so I’m just gonna focus on me and baby.

Parenting situation what would you do? Please help!

My son (four) got a dirtbike for his birthday. I told him he could ride it in the backyard. I was watching him and sitting in a chair. He has a helmet he has to wear and he took it off and threw it on the ground hopped back on and started riding it and I told him he needed to stop and put it back on, and he looked at me and smiled and said I do whatever I want and did another lap I had to get in front of his dirtbike and stop it I am pregnant and can’t be dealing with chasing my son down and stopping a dirtbike.

When he got inside, he threw his helmet down we’ve been dealing with some major behavior problems lately, and I’m not quite sure how to deal with them. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m pregnant, but my patience is wearing thin:/ lately he’s been saying things like I hate you or I only listen to my Gigi! And I’m really not sure how to stop this behavior for a while ignored it but now I feel like I’m letting him walk all over him me. It’s not a great lesson to teach that you can talk to me however you want lol

Please help I would love some advice!!!!

Am I wrong?

My husband has gone away for the weekend on a buck’s which is in theory fine.

Our toddler is sick and sh slept poorly for 2 nights prior to his leaving - so badly I almost called in sick to work one day because I’ve had so little sleep. So my husband definitely knew she was sick. Went anyway. We also have 2 other daughters. (4 and 6)

I sent him a text to be like toddler vomited and has a small rash and he was like oh that sucks hope the weekend isn’t horrible for you! This pissed me off so much because he didn’t even pretend to care about her or my stress levels. I feel like if the roles were reversed he’d be pissed that I left him alone for a whole weekend with a sick child plus 2 others. He didn’t even do anything to help me get ready for the weekend (we don’t have groceries, I just had to push a heavy queen sized mattress into one of my daughter’s bedrooms on my own so we could all sleep together tonight.

He has also periodically picked fights with me about ā€œnot being supportive enoughā€ I.e. pissy because I don’t act enough like his mummy. But then he’ll leave me with sick kids?

I get that we all are in need and deserving of breaks but I feel like he should have offered to come home (or not left in the first place). The longer I stew the more fucking annoyed I get.

Fed up!

My child’s father is stressing me out! One minute he’s happy the next he’s having a complete bitch fit🤣 he blames me for his rap career not popping off the way he wanted. Says he gave me 2 kids and he has nothing to show for it. Granted when we met I was in school for music business I worked with KCamp and MoneyBagg Yo and Dolph all before they blew up when they were still establishing themselves I told him I could help him but then I moved from LA being in the club life back home to take care of my dad. Things got hard I wasn’t in the places I needed to be to make his dreams come true and money wasn’t there because we had bills. Covid happened and things really went down but I tried to help him when I had it but like he says my priorities changed…duh we were pregnant, had bills in the middle of a pandemic shit was hard for the world and we could never really gain our feet back under the music thing. Now that we are pregnant again he’s blaming me for his life not being where he wanted but I got what I wanted a family. I’m so tired to where I don’t care if he leaves me or not he don’t pay NO BILLS, he don’t help around the house, but he has a job and does whatever he wants with his money and our son and I are always last on his mind unless it’s a holiday or birthday. I needed to vent because I’m fed up and tired

Tips for ill toddler mum!

What do you do with your toddler when you’re on deaths door kind of ill and they’re raring to go?! I have a day of solo parenting ahead of me and I’m not my best.

Any advice welcome!!

P.s. he will probably sit down and play/watch tv for approximately two minutes…he’s not one to relax!
