I’m 7 weeks and 4 days and the nausea just seems to be getting worse and worse. I can’t sleep, I’m going to work on 2 hours sleep if even. I’m running on empty and im crying constantly. I feel like such a failure.

Are you puking constantly or just nauseous?

Not a failure, the first trimester is just so so hard! My first pregnancy I was so hard on myself thinking I was lazy but in hindsight sight I was growing a whole person from scratch so I was actually just legitimately exhausted! I regret having made it even harder on myself by having unrealistic expectations. Next time I’m going to clear my schedule, take naps, eat whatever I can and not feel bad about it

Eat few almonds as you wake up
- it helped me

Look up hyperemesis gravidarum and The HER Foundation. It’s a severe form of morning sickness that ‘normal’ remedies don’t work for. If you’re vomiting all day, you likely have HG. Do a bit of research then contact your doctor, you might need medication to control your symptoms.

7 weeks is when my nausea really picked up speed and it was so difficult! I’m sorry you’re going through that!
Make sure your prenatal vitamin has b-12 in it.
Traditional prenatals with fish oil also made me nauseous. I had success switching to Ritual.
Try ginger drops to help ease some nausea.
If it feels less hormonal and more acidic, get some tums to help balance.
Broth or smoothies, drink slowly. Keep trying to eat. Even you throw up, some nutrients may still be remaining in you at least.
BRAT diet.
If you need help with insomnia, unisom is pregnancy safe, non addictive OTC sleep aid. Check out whether you prefer ingredients in sleep gels vs tabs better.
Rest when you need to. Minimize exposure to heat - that makes it worse.
It’s common to initially lose weight before the pregnancy hormones flooding your system right now make you vomit. Don’t worry about weight gain at 7 weeks.
Check the liquids and foods - you don’t want anything that causes extra gas right now

Acupuncture treatments really helped my morning sickness. Maybe you can check out that option 💕

It sounds like hyperemisis gravadium I had that in my pregnancy there is a medication called xonvea speak to your obgyn doctor about it or any other anti sickness , also look at the page for hyperemisis gravardium on Instagram and Facebook there is a lot of support nowadays ❤️I’m sorry your going through this 😔 I know how debilitating sickness is and hyperemisis is worse than normal morning sickness , sending out love and support to you ❤️

Hi all, would you give the same name of the baby of a friend of yours who is not very close to you but you keep talking from time to time?
We are both from Spain and our husbands are Greek. She had a baby few months ago and gave her one of our favorite name we are thinking to give to our baby (a Greek name). In the last month we are starting to love more and more that name and I am wondering if this will be offensive to her if we pick the same? my older kid really loves that name too and wants us to call our baby like that. To add on the awkwardness our first born has the same name but our is the Spanish version and hers is the Greek version!! in this case we didn’t know it and it was pure chance 👀

Today i found out if you have the flu or a cold you feel really under the weather and just want to lie down and rest - our babies do the same thing, their movements may be reduced because they are reserving energy, didn’t know this before but it puts my mind at ease as i had the worst flu over the past week at 37 weeks and baby girl was quite quiet ❤️🥰

I had an internal scan on Wednesday , my LMP was 24th July 2026 so from that date I would’ve been about 6 weeks and 4 days on Wednesday. I’m having regular scans due to miscarriage before and I was having pain 2 weeks ago, but I had my scan and they can only see a gestational sac there’s still no yolk sac and fetal pole is this normal. They are saying I’m probably still so early to see it but I’ve got really bad anxiety so I’m worried about it all, my hcg is going up and my tests are getting darker but I’m still so worried. I started getting spotting Wednesday as well and nothing goes onto my pad it’s only when I wipe but it’s more red now. Yesterday my test also changed to 3+ after it being on 2-3 for 2 weeks but I done another test this morning when I woke up because of the pain and bleeding and it’s gone back down to 2-3 im really worried

I'm too scared to test so thought I'd ask for people's opinion. I plan on testing this weekend or possibly Monday when my period is officially due
Had sensitive nipples. Pink spotting a few days ago. Mild pinches, nausea, sensitive smell and a whole bunch of symptoms. Last night I got up to use the bathroom for the first time. I'm 11dpo and the fatigue is awful. I've also had a strange sinus headache and nose bleeds for a few days.
