100% went through this, your hormones are going to be everywhere but I promise you they’ll settle down and you’ll get into the rhythm of things, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I stayed with my mum too to help, there is no shame in needing help. A healthy mama means a healthy baby. You do whatever it takes to keep you both healthy and happy xo

I think it's a shock to the system going through childbirth and your body is recovering then your responsible for a baby when your so exhausted. Don't feel bad. Being safe is getting help and support when you need to. Things will get better, when they are a newborn they need feeding every 2-3 hours.

Kid-free fun 👀

Hey guys! Just curious- when was the last time your friend group went out child free? Do you get to do it often or is it a rare occurrence?

Anti depressants

My GP want me to go on anti depressants for PPD but I’ve heard so many people say they make them feel worse/feel like zombies and I’m scared to even take them bc I’ve never heard anyone say their anti depressants even worked for them

Have they worked for any of you?

Distant Friend?

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have had a similar experience. How you coped with it etc.

I've had a close friend for the last 4/5 years I met through my husband. She was the maid of honour at my wedding and we've been close with her partner since they've been together. We used to hang out a lot and used to see each other for dog walks, pubs etc.

We both started trying for children at a similar time. We unfortunately had a miscarriage which was very hard to deal with. They got pregnant around this time and then miraculously we got pregnant again and this time baby stayed. Since we've become pregnant again, I feel like they've started becoming distant.

We moved back home a few months ago which meant we were actually closer to them then before, but we've actually met up less than before...We've both tried to meet up with them and just feel a bit blown off. I feel really gutted because I thought I'd have a close friend during pregnancy but it feels like the opposite.

They've now had their baby and completely understand that life is probably really busy for them. We've tried to prompt them about if something is wrong but just been given the response of sorry we've been busy.

I feel like I'm going mad, it's hard because I want to be her friend but feel like she just doesn't want to be my friend. I'm fed up of reaching out and not getting a lot back. Advice please x

Need a friend who doesnt have to talk every day all day because we are moms who sometimes have crazy and lives and forget people exist. Who love to thrift. Bonus points if you like generation one Monster High, Harry Potter and building Lego

Girl bestie

One thing I hate is not having a best friend anymore. Yes, I have friends and family—my favorites, the people I love and appreciate—but I don’t have that one person anymore. That “you ride, I ride” kind of friendship. My ride-or-die.

The person I can call about anything, the one who knows me without me having to explain myself, the one who’s there through the good, the bad, and everything in between.

I’m grateful for the people I do have, but I’d be lying if I said I don’t miss having *my person*. There’s a certain kind of connection that you just can’t replace, and I really miss that. ❤️
